hi

I just saw this pop up

A passnger on a Newark bound United flight has informed the crew that he has poisoned everyone on board.

He is being restrained by other passengers and the flight fom Hong Kong is scheduled to land at 1:30 p.m'
link

They are saying the man is emotionally disturbed and there is no evidence of people being poisoned..

I guess we will just have to wait and see..

- How on earth did that kind of info get out before the plane even landed?
- Also .... The link isn't working. It says there is no story.

Looks like we need to look around for info on this.

Probably.

All you have to do is start coughing, like it seems every starts doing as soon as the plane takes off.

here it is: Story

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Newark-bound United Airlines flight is carrying a passenger who reportedly informed the crew that he "poisoned everyone on board." United Flight 116, from Hong Kong, is set to land at 1:30 p.m. The passenger is being restrained by other passengers. Law enforcement officials in New York and Washington, D.C., are aware of the incident and are responding. I hope they at least do some sort of check on these people before just pulling them off the plane and interviewing them.

I'm sure that Homeland Security has the anthrax and other detection equipment out and ready to test the air and the clothing of the people. They've got some time to get it all together ....

Because someone on the plane emails/calls/text someone on the ground, that's how.

One would certainly hope.

Does anybody have any idea what kind of detection equipment they keep on the actual plane?

Same route as had this in 2007.

abclocal.go.com.../local&id=5152451

Officials say passengers on a Continental flight from Hong Kong were allowed to get off a plane at Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday afternoon after being held for two hours because some passengers reported feeling ill.

The Continental flight arrived in New Jersey at 2 p.m. , and passengers disembarked about 4 p.m. after officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention allowed them off, said Marc La Vorgna, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the airport. Continental Flight 98 departed Hong Kong with 272 passengers.

Twilight Zone noise in my head.

Let's hope it's not one of the pandemic type influenzas that spark worldwide panic.....

He might not be poisonous, but still be toxic, contagious
Let's hope he's just a little mentally unstable

If say you did breathe in anthrax or ricin how long does it take to show effects?

google search (that probably raised a couple red flags lol) answered my question

ricin several hours and anthrax several days

Tuberculosis spreads quite easily on an aircraft.

Unless he pitched Anthrax into a vent.

If he has gone mental maybe it is his voices doing the talking.

If he has in fact Poisoned or Infected everyone on the craft the crew had better get him to safety before they have is a Justifiable Homicide on their hands.

I Hope that everyone on the plane is O.K.

Hopefully it's just a mentally ill person. Glad to see the active passengers restaining this guy.
