in your list of possibilities I don't see a mention of them emerging from their cool lookin ships and immediately squatting and dumping here before nipping back up into their cool lookin ship and zippin off to some other part, now that would call for some nukies...

Though I have never seen an alien I fully believe that there's no reason NOT to believe in them. If there's life on earth, why not on some of the other trillions of planets? If we've reached this level of intelligence within a hundred thousand years, how intelligent would other beings be if they became sentient a few million years ago?
