Yeah sorry for making your thread pile up so fast. I'll go chill a bit and come back later to read what everyone's talking about.

But hey on the bright side my activity here will help bump your thread up and get more traffic!

Does anyone know what a "flag" is? What does it mean when a post is flagged and why does this thread have 3 of them?

Each person can flag it and the more flags it gets the more attention it can possibly get.
A lot of flags can push it higher up on the page of today's topics.

Just some info for the board about the structure of freemasonry.

Freemasonry consists of 3 degrees (craft degrees). After a man recieves his 3rd and becomes a Master Mason he can choose to join other orders and obtain more degrees within Masonry. Contrary to popular belief these other degrees are not more important or "higher" than the first three. The first 3 degrees are the most important in Freemasonry because they are the foundation and without the foundation the rest of the degrees would not exist. A master mason can choose to join the York Rite (Royal Arch, Crytic, and Templar degrees) or they can join the Scottish Rite (degrees 4-32 with 33rd being honorary). Although these degrees have numbers higher than the 3rd, these degrees are actually not "higher". Most people think of Freemasonry in a vertical fashion when they should be thinking in a horizontal fashion. The other degrees are like flashbacks into the first three degrees and tell deeper parts of the story. They expound on the first three degrees. Also, there are MANY other degrees (hundreds in fact) that have no number. Contrary to popular belief a 32nd degree mason is not more important and does not have more "pull" than a 3rd degree mason. Them being a 32nd doesnt necessarily mean they will be more knowledgable on Freemasonry either.

Do you know if anyone has counted all of them?

My guesstimate is that there should be at least 360 degrees, to complete the full circle of the Hero's Journey.

I don't know of any better terminology but anything you may know to educate me on that topic would be most appreciated thanks.

NO I dont know the exact number. And some are not even serious degrees. There is one degree called the "Knife and fork" degree and one known as "the cork degree". These degrees are for pure entertainment. There is no such thing as 360 degrees representing full knowlegde. Masonry does not work that way it is not built that way. In my opinion, people who are not Freemasons put WAY too much importance on these degrees.

How did you know the 360 degrees represent 'full knowledge'? I called it the Hero's Journey.

Plus cmon, how can you say there isn't that many when you said you don't even know the exact number?

Look I don't know for sure either, but I have created a extremely well founded postulation that explains this to be the most likely scenario. I can't really explain everything at once it's probably a few books worth of blabbing at least.

What do you use a compass for ? Circles. "Complete the Circle", it's not called The Craft for no reason.
All "Crafts" or "Circles" or "Guilds" apparently are derived from the Mes (Myth) , just as Prometheus taught man fire (enlightenment, light bringer etc)
And then we have the magnetic compass, which gives us the 4 cardinal points around 360 degrees.
Alchemy and the Zodiac. Lead into Gold. Etc.

You gotta have 360 degrees or lest the whole entire system doesn't make any sense. It is a culmination of the entire alchemist - mythological system.

Plus look it's more than that, it is the original basis of our entire numeral logic system.
60 number wiki

The Babylonian number system had a base of sixty, inherited from the Sumerian and Akkadian civilizations, and possibly motivated by the large number of divisors which 60 has. The sexagesimal measurement of time and of geometric angles is a legacy of the Babylonian system.

The number system in the Mali Empire was also based on sixty (this is reflected in the counting system of the Maasina Fulfulde, a variant of the Fula language spoken in contemporary Mali).[2] The Ekagi of Western New Guinea have also used base 60,[3] and the sexagenary cycle also plays a role in Chinese calendar and numerology.

Geometric angles 360 degrees total. Architects use Geometry.

In the Bible, the number 60 occurs several times, for example as the age of Isaac when Jacob and Esau were born,[4] and the number of warriors escorting King Solomon.[5] In the laws of kashrut of Judaism, 60 is also the proportion (60:1) of kosher to non-kosher ingredients which can render an admixture kosher post-facto.[6] In the Koran, the number 60 is mentioned once: "..he should feed sixty indigent ones..",[7] yet 60 is mentioned many times in the Hadith, most notably Muhammad being reported to say, "..Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His own image with His length of sixty cubits.."[8]

60 is an ultimately important number that has to do with all of this.
"Time" = 360 "Grandfather Clocks" have hands that go around a circle base 12 in two cycles.
It's based on the speed of the rotation of the Earth. That's what the pyramids actually reveal as well.
All of this "revolves" around the Zodiac. That's where everything came from apparently.

It's a circular mathematical system that works. 360 / 24 = 15 , and 15 x 4 = 60
You can calculate all sorts of things with this, that's why we use it in practically all of our "Crafts" today. Without even realizing it.

So I really would like to know exactly why all of these ideas are off base. I can't imagine how it would work any other way. I could go on about it but I am sure you probably are either really intrigued or probably annoyed so I'll drop it unless u continue the conversation further.

All of that sounds great, but it doesn't have anything to do with the STRUCTURE of Freemasonry. As I said in my earlier posts, people who are not Freemasons put way too much thought into the degree system of Freemasonry. You are over-thinking it. Freemasonry consist of a conglomeration of degrees and not all jurisdictions confer the same "side degrees". If you look at it from a logical standpoint, who is gonna remember 360 signs, grips, and passwords? Who's really going to carry around 360 dues cards in their wallet? A man has a can pick and choose which degrees he wants to attain.

I am truly trying to learn now so dont take the following questions as a personal attack.

So keeper of masonic secrets. What secrets do you hold?

What does the PHA stand for?

Why isn't everyone raised to be "self-enlightened"?

To know who they TRULY are.

To be raised to know who THEY CAN BE?

To better THEMSELVES/OURSELVES.

Are you a hierophant is that what the PHA stands for. Are you 90th degree?

Maybe you can shed some light on the inner workings of you masonic sub-sect if the PHA in your name stands for Hierophant.

Why all of the separate societies? Golden Dawn, K.G.C., O.L.O. S&B?

With all the sub-sects how can you all be for the same thing.

I understand unification. So if you dont want to post all the answers a p.m. would suffice
As a master mason you reveal in bettering your self and spreading peace and prosperity. So why would the organization, skull and bones, a sub-sect of masonry, live by the rule of war.

Why isn't the world raised to know who they are. With all these secrets and high power positions specifically reserved for Masons it would seem that every republic and most democratic nations slave for the betterment of your society. You say no while Masons and the uppercalls are thriving more than ever the middle classes and lower class are hurting more now than anytime in the history of, "YOUR GREAT NATION", "YOUR NEW ISRAEL".

I will have more I hope you show the respect to respond to my post since you said no question is forbidden.

Freemasonry, like other "secret societies" such as the rosicrucian order... They contain all of the knowledge / wisdom, that humanity has currently forgotten. They have remembered our true origins. The reason it is called a secret, is because the average person, would not understand any of this wisdom. The truth sounds crazy, and does not resonate with most people, unless they have had personal experiences to tell them otherwise.

You see, the truth is, this physical reality is not all there is. Many of us are not ready to be told about this truth, we are not ready to be told that we can leave our bodies and go to other realms, and understand the true nature of reality.

The secret societies are there to embrace anyone who is ready, who has learned from their physical experiences, and is now ready to move onto something beyond it. There really are no secrets to those who are ready to explore realms beyond the physical.

This planet, humanity, is just one race among many in the universe. We are 3D, experiencing physical reality. There are many other races, that are in other dimensions, all around us, and throughout the universe. Mysticism is about learning how to remember and discover who we really are.

Why do you think the earths history is shrouded in secrecy? Why do you think humanities origins are unknown?

The answer is quite simple.

When you realize you are a spiritual being having a human experience, you come to the realization that you were not born here. You came here. When you die, you will go back to where you came from. As long as you completed the mission you came here to do, if not, then you will reincarnate, until you have learned the lessons you came here to learn.

You are here for a reason, and that reason is to discover your true purpose, to live true to yourself. To not be affected by fear and judgement. To not want to commit sins against your own soul. You are here, to love and spread love, by creating a life by following your passions. The more you live true to yourself, the more you become open to the divine, to the understanding of the matrix that this planet really is. The more we live in love, the more understanding of the nature of this reality. We start to remember our multi-dimensional abilities. We start doing the great work, the divine plan.

We are here to evolve our own souls, to an understanding that this physical reality is just an experience. to surrender to what is, to stop being a victim of all that is not who you are. It's a journey back to the perfection that you already are. 33 degrees, 33 vertabrae of the spine.... It's the 3 foot journey to enlightenment, the journey of the kundalini. As the kundalini raises up the spine, your life changes perspective, your lifestyle changes, you become more kind and caring, you may switch diets, you may suddenly change professions, you become more altruistic, more tolerant, more caring, kind, loving, and you begin to accept life as it is, and know that when death comes, its nothing to be afraid of. You know that you are not your body, you are not your mind, and death just means you leave the physical shell, its just a transition. Once the kundalini has reached its destination, you become your true divine self in physical form, enlightened. When you die, you go home, to whatever world it is that you belong to in other realms.

They call us star seeds, the pleidians, the arcturians, reptillians, annunaki, and so on, the origins of humanity do not come from one race, they come from all over the universe. To tell the normal person of these things, they will look at you like a deer in headlights, and then judge you and argue with you, and think you're a lunatic. It only makes sense to those who have had the experiences, and seek to understand them better. That is why they are called secret societies. It's all about relearning our connection with the universe, because we have the universe within us, we are experiencing it subjectively, experiences of this, bring us into oneness with it, and that is a self realization that changes your life.

The questions you have, I cannot answer. However, I can tell you how to answer them yourself. Then it is up to you. Everyone who seeks knowledge, must be willing to put aside all they once believed to be true, in order to understand what really is true.

Wisdom is knowing that you know nothing. Its when we think we know everything, that we become confused and lazy, and ignorant of who we are.

I am truly trying to learn now so dont take the following questions as a personal attack.

So keeper of masonic secrets. What secrets do you hold?

I hold the secret word, grip step, due guard, and sign, of a Master Mason

What does the PHA stand for?

Prince Hall Affiliated

Why isn't everyone raised to be "self-enlightened"?

I would say that is something Freemasonry does encourage. Although Freemasonry does not dictate how, when, and in what form this enlightenment may come about.

To know who they TRULY are.

That is left up to the individual

To be raised to know who THEY CAN BE?

Freemasonry also encourages this but does not dictate or define it

To better THEMSELVES/OURSELVES.

That is the main goal/philosophy of Freemasonry. Better yourself so that you may in turn go out and better the world

Are you a hierophant is that what the PHA stands for. Are you 90th degree?

No, I am not a heirophant. PHA stands for Prince Hall Affiliated. Prince Hall lodges and Grand Lodges are styled with that name to pay homage to Prince Hall the man. He is a very important figure in the history of African Americans in freemasonry.

Maybe you can shed some light on the inner workings of you masonic sub-sect if the PHA in your name stands for Hierophant..

Refer to my answer above

Why all of the separate societies? Golden Dawn, K.G.C., O.L.O. S&B?

I dont see the problem with having seperate organizations. If they dont have the same goals why should they all be lumped together?

With all the sub-sects how can you all be for the same thing.

We're not

I understand unification. So if you dont want to post all the answers a p.m. would suffice
As a master mason you reveal in bettering your self and spreading peace and prosperity. So why would the organization, skull and bones, a sub-sect of masonry, live by the rule of war.

Skull & Bones is not a sub-sect of Freemasonry. They are two totally different organizations with no link to one another.

What you dont understand is that "the secrets" are nothing more that secret words, passwords, signs and grip. None of which have any affect on the world. Freemasonry is a fraternity it is not a save/destroy the world secret society. What high power positions are you speaking of? You say masons are thriving. Well, i'm a mason and I am considered middle class. I do ok for myself but I'm certainly not rich.

I will have more I hope you show the respect to respond to my post since you said no question is forbidden.

I have no qualms about conversing with you as long as you keep it respectful
