She doesn't have a name yet. Poor thing was found by the highway. We estimate she's about 10 weeks old.

Considering I can't say no to a cute face, I've adopted her into our pet friendly home. She's perhaps the most loving kitten I've ever had. She really seems like she understands that she was 'rescued'.

All the other pets in the house simply adore her and besides checking every 10 minutes to see if she still has food and water, she's adjusting nicely.

She was malnourished, dehydrated and full of ticks and ear mites etc.. Got her a clean bill of health at the vet and a few more visits for shots over the next few weeks and she'll be right as rain.

Been struggling with the name thought. It's my turn to name this one and I'm at a loss.

I was thinking "Scritches".

Anywhoo, I just wanted to share her with you guys

Lucky little kitty. Freeways are dangerous for small animals. Glad she is okay.

Congrats on your new addition.

I went to the chat room and asked for a name for my pet when I got it.
Make a thread asking for one.
I got the coolest name ever for my pet....his name is Dave.

Congrats man.

My uncle once found (and adopted) a dog he found on a highway- he named the dog "Freeway."

I'm so glad the kitten Scritches found such a good home with you. It makes my day to hear good news, so thanks for sharing it with us !

I like Larry Purrington.
I have always liked human names for pets....that name is funny and probably fitting.

Awesome kitty! Good on you for rescuing it!

I like naming cats after political figures for reason, I just think its funny.

My first cat (female) was named Donald Rumsfeld, my second (male) was named Teddy Roosevelt. If I ever get a third I think I will name it Richard Nixon.

I also like to rename cats other people own despite their objections, so I here by dub your cat Grover Cleavland!

Yeah a lot of my pets have strange names.

Itchy & Scratchy ( two of our PitBulls)

You get the point lol

So true. One of my cats are named Meeka. I have not idea how I came up with that but it fits her perfectly. We call her Meeky tweeky 'cause she never sits still.

Way to go, Tenth! I love rescue stories!

We named our two cats Ransom and Kyrie. Ransom bc it cost an arm and a leg to get him from the shelter, Kyrie bc that was the song playing on the radio.

Lady Purrington is a precious name, but so is Scritches. She kinda looks like a Scritches.....

Not sure how to respond to that. As long as you keep the Snake away from mah kitty I'm ok with it

Aww what a cute kitty! I love cats. If I could be..I would be the crazy cat lady, but hubby won't allow it.

My two black cats are bob Dylan...we call him dylan and Charlie Chaplin, we call him Charlie.

I like famous names for my animals. I used to have a hamster named Fred...for Fred savage...cause I loved the wonder years

Hehe...

Hope you find a nice name.
Peace and love you and yours and the new kitty!!
