I was in grade 6 when that came on. I remember watching it with my dad.

Ooh sledgehammer..../drool at Anne-Marie when i was a poor lad having to watch it at near midnight in the UK at the time

but i'm sure these days he'd be considered a gun grabber due to some silly fact that would make less sense than the series

Sally Fields as the Flying Nun. The only show on this thread I recognize so far. I have to guess that the others were out while I was in the navy.

LOL! Good one!

For me, maybe Dinosaurs? Never watched it back in the day but it's on Netflix now (but I don't watch it there either).

Weird show. lol

I'm not familiar with the ones in the OP.

I remember Sledge Hammer(Awesome) and I faintly remember Mr. Merlin but the others are a mystery , I guess they didn't make it to UK TV .
If you want Weird TV shows from the past this this was a kids show that was really out there , so much so that the memory of it stayed with me to this day .

These were all on, in the US, mostly in primetime. Thing is, they didn't last long. A bit too weird for most people.

Yeah, that was pretty mainstream. "Alf" would be another, but kind of mainstream for what I was going for.

Here's others:

Misfits of Science (a very young Courtney Cox)

Powers of Matthew Star

Last summer the Chiller network ran a marathon of Brimstone. It was a very nice treat!

Speaking of weird TV shows, I think Saturday mornings of the past take first prize in that category!

The whole Sid & Marty Krofft thing was pretty out there. Dr. Shrinker, Land of the Lost, etc.

Yeah, I looked into it a few years ago, and everywhere I found one, they wanted a small fortune for it.

I used to love Sledge Hammer.

Does anyone remember the show "Nowhere Man" starring Bruce Greenwood? I missed the last season and I was never sure if all that was really happening to him or if he was just insane. Does anyone know?
