If we were to refer to this court case in mixed martial arts parlance, the defence doesn't yet know if it is up against a wrestler, a striking specialist, a brawler, or a good all-rounder, and George has the most mma knowledge of the lot of them, ie. next to none, based on the person least likely to lie, his own trainer.

Funny, I have seen video of people's throats cut and they were still alive for quite a while.......

And how many of these were "up close, live, and in person" or are you talking about movie stunts?

I take it the firearm Zimmerman was legaly owned and carried?

If so is that not the point of haveing one? In case some thug jumps you?

In a fight you dont know if that thug will beat you do death, pull a knife or a gun. When fear takes over a normal person they will do whats needed to survive.

Nearly correct, apart from the "ordering him to get on top bit." I'm guessing they went to the floor as a result of trying to engage in a tug of war of some kind on a wet, slippery surface.

No he wasn't. Even in his secret tweets he admitted he got owned on the ground in the first round of his mentioned fight, but won the next 2 as he kept the fight standing.

I have witnessed many of animal deaths in my life and "autopsied" them right after the fact. The reality is that all animals act differently to a vital wound. I have seen deer run for many yards after losing function of both lungs and the heart, as well I have seen them drop instantly. I have seen a deer run after a heart shot that destroyed the heart. Mind you that in all of these kills very few had any higher than a resting heart rate. Only an uninformed or uneducated person would try to make a science out of something that is based on so many unknowable until after the fact variables. Mind you this as well a deer's heart is almost the same exact size as ours as are their lungs.

Grasping at straws is when you steal a dead teenager's screams to try and get out of a situation of your own making.

edit on 10-7-2013 by IvanAstikov because: (no reason given)

Eyewitness testimony paints Zimmerman as the man on the ground and the man screaming for help...

I mean, I don't see any other reason unless you're so anal about these kind of thigns, that you wouldn't just immediately assume rightfully that the screams belonged to Zimmerman. All the evidence, eyewitness testimony and plain common sense points to that being the case...

Z said in a recorded interview that he "got from un...well, not from under him" (then an explanation) and when he moved his shirt came up. When this happened, T saw the gun and took one of his hands off his face (I think his said his mouth, he said they were both on his face, one hand on his mouth and the other over his nose) and ran his hand down his chest (from Z's hand motion it was down the center of his chest). Then Z said he got his own weapon.

And this is why they found GZ's blood on TM's hands!
I was wondering about that part too.

I keep watch around my neighborhood for any wrongdoing. I'm an adult with absolutely NO time for fighting. If some aggressor came at me swinging I would probably be on trial right now too.

Not everyone wants to fight.

No I am talking real war stuff, not movie stuff..... A bunch of guys were bound with their hands behind their backs, and they got their throats cut one after the other. Some were still squirming and making this distgusting horse hissing noise while being dragged away by the feet.

They found no blood on T's hands, just a small abrasion/scrape on his ring finger. His hands were found to be "not significant". The only blood that I am aware of from Z on T is a drop on the shirt under the hoodie.

I can't say honestly who the screams were for certain, but I'm not favouring the guy with the gun who waits until he is on the brink of consciousness before drawing it. Why would a guy with a gun scream for help from anyone else? Did he want someone to come and hold Trayvon still while he shot him?

So it's not good to wait until you hand has been absolutely forced to use drastic measures? Please see my above post.

How about a guy who only wanted to use deadly force as a last resort... Think, don't just try to find the man guilty.

Because normal people don't want to shoot someone? Carrying a gun doesn't turn us into psychopaths you know....

Not everyone with a firearm may really want to use it to shoot someone. Not saying it is the right mindset for someone carrying a firearm but it can be.

Maybe because like most of us he'd rather have not had to kill a man, that his first instinct was to cry out for help, and maybe and only did what he did as a last resort? Crazy theory, I know....
