We conspiracy theorists love a question that spins our mind's wheels to their limit. This one sure gets mine, and I still haven't reached a satisfying answer for myself.

So I calling all of you to give your take, if you even believe there's one to be had.

No wrong answers here, just endless speculation.

I have no idea personally, but if I had to take a guess I'd think to cause division and an eventual collapse?

Just a guess.

Honestly and this follows doom porn routes, but it must be common knowledge that something is about to happen out of our hands and they want to milk things for everything they can until it happens?

I mean why else, it would have to be something all can benefit from, and from the lack of proper governing seems many ave given up, I bet they are too busy building their dream bunkers to worry about common folk things.

We live in perpetual attack on every level by the government and the media, only to perpetuate the game divide and conquer...nothing will change..business as usual

After the "tingle up their leg" feeling wore off some of the MSM began to realize just what was going to happen if they began speaking out against this administration. Low and behold it did.

Fear of BHO and his cronies underscored by the fact they are owned by big money leftists is a powerful motivator. Look how quickly Chris Mathews jumped right back on the praise and glory bandwagon.

Edit to add - Oh, the MSM endgame is survival.

While you are absolutely correct, this seems different somehow.

The coordinated effort of the MSM to push this issue to the forefront doesn't fit the divide and conquer strategy.

The best I can fathom is that it is a distraction, from what exactly I'm not sure. Interesting though that the Boston bomber is now talking and declaring innocence and not a peep from the media about it.

The game will never end. So there is no "end game".

But the next move will be a financial collapse of the West. It is likely to take the form of extreme monetary expansion in deference to Modern Monetary Theory (every other option has already been exhausted and most people refuse to accept that unlimited economic growth on limited resources is not a possibility). This will lead to huge currency inflation. However if MMT is applied, there will be a Job Guarantee Scheme in place, so those looking for work will have it, although at a minimum wage. Some low key industries may be nationalised or even handed over to workers' cooperatives if the situation warrants it i.e. if there appears to be an imminent violent revolution.

Life will go on. In about a decade people will get used to the new reality of a static economy instead of a forever growing economy. People will find other things to aspire to and look forward to instead of spending their whole waken hours planning for more material acquisitions.

On the whole, not a bad thing.

The way they've speeded things up makes me think that there is something naturally catastrophic that may be coming -

Otherwise, they realize that the need to hit when they're still up - in some way.

Financial implosion - and hoping to kill off as many people as they can - through war, or bio- , or starvation.

I think the elites are scared, for some reason.

I don't think they are planning on killing off on any major scale. There is no realistic way of achieving that without simultaneously losing their control.

There is no possibility of immediate food scarcity or starvation, while there may be food distribution issues. Any population reduction strategy can only be long term, like sterilisation. People at the lowest end of the economic spectrum may be given an option of welfare only after they have sterilised themselves and their children who are past puberty.

I think the elites are scared, for some reason.

They sure are. Anybody in their position would be and should be. Not because they are afraid of losing control, but because they are afraid of remaining in control when the entire paradigm shifts and they have to oversee the transition.

Complete control.

That is what they want and what they will have. They have the resources (Financial, intellectual, technological and material). They have a public that has been softened up by decades of police state propaganda and doesn't know which way is up. They have the twin psychological tools of fear and intimidation. They have people believing that being different is evidence of dire mental illness that might make someone dangerous. They have the ability to invent an infinite number of "mental disorders"

They might have fast tracked this agenda when they realized the internet was going to take off. Television was the ultimate tool for mental conditioning. But when the internet came along, people started turning off their TVs and actually talking about real issues. They only have so much time before television loses it's grip on the masses. All their hard work in programming people to love Big Brother would be wasted.

Whatever the reasons, the agenda seems to be really accelerating. How long can it be, really, before something gives? Either they're getting really close to their goals or they are scrambling to keep up with a world that does not want to be controlled.

What I see is that society wants Big Brother. I don't know how there could be a better time. They are not having any difficulty manipulating people from where I sit.
