Indeed, we should not be denied any rights/privileges/benefits that any other 'Human' has,

Why? what makes you so special?

When a man or women with down syndrome gets a job as CEO then maybe we will start worrying about cry baby gay people.

At least down syndrome can handle stress and they are not knocking themselves out like flies at the first sign of social pressure. There is no honor in suicide and I see no reason why society should bend to suit the cowards of life.

Every human should be afforded the same rights as another. That means no one is "special" they are just human. Your example of a down's syndrome person is asinine. Having a skill set for a job is not a right, it is earned through school and work. Interesting that you used down's syndrome as an example. 50 years ago you would have said "retarded", but apparently you have the capacity to understand how social stigma affects people. Then again, with all the contradictions and absurd illustrations of your post, I doubt it.

fine! i want access to womens washrooms then. gay men are allowed in mens washrooms
dispite the fact that they are sexually attracted to the men dropping
their pants infront of them. I guess women should have to deal with men
who are sexually attracted to them when they lift theirs skirts. to be fair....

Homosexuals are not the SAME as heteros. why would they get the
same rights?
actually scrub that. Why do homosexuals WANT the same thing as hetros'

Are they trying to suggest that a man and woman uniting and producing
offspring doesnt mean squat? and that any number or combination
is sufficiant because wr are all the same?

And yoy say what I said is asinine?

We don't change the structure of our society over 2% of the population
crying and killing themselves. Thats undemocratic and bowing to terrorism.

no need to call me a Cry baby gay, name calling is not needed, unless it's fierce

nothing makes me any more special, i don't believe we are asking for 'Special' rights, we are asked to be thought of as a Human, not a 'Sub-Human'

Sounds like you are surrounded by gay people on a daily basis and they have really made your life difficult.
You don't understand what "rights" mean, obviously.
Are you so base that you are sexually attracted to every woman you meet? I suppose in cave man world you'd have a point, but fortunately most people have gone beyond "me Tarzan, you Jane". Most people.

Colorado and Darth, I edited my last post but ended up adding to it.
please read it again.

Maybe I don't understand what Rights mean. the issue is cloudy
these days.

A serious equality question though....

Men and womens public change rooms are seperated i presume to give
privacy from the opposite sex. Is it fair to ask that if you dont like
changing in front of people who are sexually attracted to you, to not
use public change rooms?

Are you willing to have you own segragated change room with a sign that
'gays only' ?? or do straight men and women have to just accept that members
of the same sex are welcome to come stand near you while you change?

How much are we going to reshape society to keep gays from not being treated equally?

Yes I am sexually attracted to EVERY WOMAN I Consider hot. Every single
one. I understand why i would be kept from watching them change. Viagra
couldnt hold a candle to what that would acheive. what can i say. Im a pervert.

I dont think Im alone either. And I doubt gay men are also born with a smaller
sex drive as part of the package.

Granting us equal rights does not equal bowing to terrorism,

we even have people telling us how we are born, and we made a choice to be gay because of X influence in your life, we are not treated 'Equal' regardless of 'Rights'

You didnt answer my question about the change rooms.

And why do you want to do the same customs as heteros? your
not the same as heteros. your not marrying to start a family.
unless your banking in a broken home or an unwanted child. thats
pretty morbid. it may be a reality that it is an option right now
but its not a very possitive plan for the future.

I don't understand why people take such offense to the fact they were not born gay.
No ones saying you had a choice one morning and you decided your fate. No one, so stop using that as an excuse to be the victim in this debate.

What I ( and others ) appear to be saying is that we're all born equal. Through our lives, our upbringing (specifically in our younger years) we are influenced by things and surroundings and we become the people we are.

If you take offence to that, well I suppose you need to look at the other issues floating around in your mind about your sexuality.

Be happy, be gay no problems no ones saying you cant be happy in life.

it's a misconception that we have to have sex with every guy we see, regardless if he is straight or Gay, as if we don't have 'Control'

why don't we get married to start families?

is it a law about men in women changing rooms? or just store policy? to be honest i am not privy to the laws, or why it became in the first place

i also believe it comes down to assumption, assuming you keep men out women changing rooms they have less chance of being sexual assaulted,

again, i am not privy to the laws or why it was to begin with, i believe it 'may' come down to something similar

likewise i don't go into a males changing room with the intent to watch other guys change/dress,

i am not offended by anyone thinking i was not born gay, even though i believe i was, and know i never made a conscious choice to be gay, i was born this way

no ones saying i can't be happy in life, though, they are saying what i am allowed as a 'Gay person' what i have the rights to and what i don't, why we are treated as a 'Sub-Human'

You speak as though gays are 'one person' or 'one mind' or something
its just a sexual preference. ir doesnt mean that you and other gay men
aee anything alike. I doubt i would take your word on most of what
you said nir would i take it as the word of all gay men.

And I imagine its because its because women dont always appreciate
being oogled at sexually especially when she *cough* between stages
of beauty. I doubt it is due to assaults. It is more a matter of class.

So you've had issues with gay guys making moves on you in the bathroom before? Let me guess...no. Your "bathroom" argument is absurd.

And really, you've never seen a unisex bathroom before let alone heard of one? You need to get out and live your life. You are terrified of something that doesn't exist. You are also full of hate, and that's going to make you old in a hurry. Do you feel this way about brown skinned people too? How about Chinese people - I bet you make some funny jokes about other races than your own. Lastly, I guarantee you tell your buddies that lesbians "rule". You are a simian in your thoughts.

If you actually sit down and read this and other posts on gay issues you will notice two things; There is diversity of opinion on some things and there is unity on others.

What Darth Prime says is true - Gay men do not try to sleep with every man they see, in fact monogamous gay relationships are becoming more and more common as society accepts gay people i.e. we can now actually set up with a partner with much less fear of reprisal that say 40 years ago.

usatoday30.usatoday.com...

If you genuinely believe that you are so attractive that gay people are attracted to you, take it as a compliment. If this is true then you are so hot that both sexes want you and you get to pick who gets to have you. By implying you believer you are that hot, you obviously have an ego larger than Texas, so run with it and take the compliment. The word no and sexual harassment / rape laws still apply to you as a straight male, so you are protected by the law, as we all are.
