I found this recipe from watching Diners Drive Ins and Dives.

Very simple to make!

Ingredients:

Bacon, get the good stuff and cut it down the middle.....
6 Jalapeno peppers
Tater Tots

After cutting the bacon in half, take one piece of bacon and at one end lay a tater tot. Then put a slice of Jalapeno pepper under the Tot. Roll it up and stick it with a tooth pick. Repeat this as many time as you need per person. Six per person should be plenty as a side dish.

Then simply drop them in a deep fryer, that is at 375 (being careful not to put in too many, it brings the oil temp down and makes the end product too greasy, I usually put in six at a time) and cook them until the bacon crisps up to where you like it! Dips are optional so experiment!

The thicker the Jalapeno slice the more heat!

Dip those bad boys into a beer/corn batter before frying...you could probably stop time by doing so.

Or a double dip. Do them the OPs way, then refry them in the beer batter. The crunchness alone could cure blindness.

Or a triple dip. Do the above, then dip into melted Velveeta. Roll heavy in panko. Refry for a quick sec or two...you would solve the worlds cold fusion problems with one bite.
