Oh snoop LION, the guy who tried to become relevant again by changing his name...

This wasn't Snoop Dog it was a rendition of a old song that is made up of cut scenes. Maybe I'm the only one who found it funny. But then again I like old school Snoop Dog.

You know, not EVERYTHING is done for money.

You also shouldn't put a negative spin on something/someone just based on ignorance of an issue. It makes your ignorance apparent.

His records do just fine as a rapper. He didn't switch anything up for publicity, at least not to profit from it. He had an awakening, and wants to connect to roots, and actually put out some reggae, and a positive message for once.

If you think his reggae album will sell ANYWHERE near his rap albums, you are truly ignorant. If you think he is doing this for money or fame, you HIGHLY underestimate him. He already HAS money and fame. He also knows very few people are going to buy his reggae album. He admitted that he doesn't think it will take real well......he knows most people aren't into reggae. He is doing it for fun, and for spiritual expression/expansion.

It is soooo easy to judge someone, or to pass them off. A much harder task is to see the positive qualities of people.

Anyway, there isn't a single person on this planet who is going to be MORE interested in Snoop, or think he is MORE relevant, because he changed his name. Or because he had a spiritual awakening. He is doing this one for himself, a personal project, so to speak.

If you actually listen to him, you can tell he is being sincere. You can also see a HUGE change in Snoop. He has shed a lot of the hood mentality, and is really trying to live a better life. And...being authentic in the process, which is a hard thing to do.
