Via the DEW Line

Boeing posted these two videos about the 2000th AH-64 Apache rolling-off the production line. I have to assume that number includes aircraft that have been remanufactured and redelivered because I don't think there have been nearly that many Apaches that have been built.

www.flightglobal.com...

Two interesting and relatively quick videos. I've toured the plant there once upon a time. With its first flight in 1975, it has a relatively impressive combat record, and the line is still up and running. Not bad.

I'm not savvy enough to link the videos, apologies

Thanks for posting.

I'd never guess that the number of produced Apache's was so high. I thought it would've been below a 1,000.

I think they're counting the refurbs. AH-64A's that were updated to -64D. D's to E. etc. But perhaps not.

I really enjoyed the second video.
