And a star for you too...Sir.
All things I was un-aware of.
In US, Obama was given name Black Eagle by one native American tribe in 2008. I have been checking their websites periodically to see if any rifts has risen and none issues mostly. Obama told them "as long as I am president, I am in favor of land trades among us".
So as part of his legacy, he plans on being the first President to give back certain lands.
I hope this happens sooner rather than later in his 2nd term.

"The empire on which the sun never sets". Ahhh, so glorious, so proud.

My old Irish grandma used to say the sun never sets on the British empire because god doesn't trust them in the dark.

Rule Britannia.

How many other countries can say the same. England ruled the world once upon a time and still do to a degree from behind the curtains.

Ha, This is the most ridiculous thread.

Criticising people today for the way people acted years ago.......well done!!

Where do you think white Americans come from? Why do Americans complain about immigration in a land
they do not come from in the first place.....isn't that more ridiculous?

I've gotta show my workmates this one.

Showing your ignorance to the community... THEY TELL YOU WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO KNOW. They dont telll you the truth of events, history, the language, the letters (which are individual symbols from earlier literatures and writings).

Everything you know is a damn LIE. So dont respond to me with information that THEY programmed you to accept. What you beleive and wish to be the truth, is absouletely non of my concern. Im just letting a community which accepts to read these words - the alternative version of what happened - that they do NOT want you to understand or accept, as it would spoil or expose what they have so desperately worked for century after century.

Your history books of the Vikings is also a lie.. EVERYTHING is a lie! THEY WRITE THE BOOKS. Dont you get it by now? There is no more playing stupid, as everything will be known in the near future regardless. The TRUTH of this and that - will be revealed to those who are worthy to carry and obtain such knowledge.

The ignorant and the blind will miss out and be wiped. Sounds very cruel and careless - but those who you call president, queen, prime minister, priest, pope etc.. Are ruthless and only care to bring forth what has been in operation WAY before you even came out of your mothers womb.

The truth cannot be found in books and literature of LIES and mis translations. Nor can it be understood by anyone who is still stuck in the old mental patterns, ideas, beleifs, and ways of perceiving reality.

Things will change, many have preached and pushed for truth, but in the end were shunned, killed or ignored. Everyone will soon see what many have so desperately tried to convey, and what the elite have so desperately tried to hide - but they play a mean game of chess, and their final moves are coming.

History is just HIS STORY re written - but it takes a close examination to understand what is to come. As humanity has always had this curse of repeating itself over and over... And never truely advancing into a galactic neighboor.

The vikings and its true meaning are the least of my concerns

Such a shame, if we had stuck with the plan the entire world could have been ours and it very nearly was. The world would have been a much more peaceful and prosperous place. Whatever happened to us we used to totally rock, oh yeh that's right leftism, socialism, feminism etc.

It was just two years ago that the UK participated in the bombing of Libya...

And when the Libyan refugees come pouring into Europe and England, most will fail to see the irony.

A kinder Empire?

I said less brutal.
It seems quite obvious that the point I raised about The British Empire being viewed in context of the time and not by using todays standards and morals went completely over your head.

You seem to be un-aware of proof of biological warfare perpatrated by British officers against Pontiac...small pox on blankets, etc., etc., etc..

It may surprise you but I am aware of that.

The first recorded use of biological warfare was carried out by The Hittite Empire in around 1500BC when plague victims were sent into enemy lands.

Biological warfare of one kind or another has unfortunately been quite common place throughout history.

When The Mongolian Golden Horde were rampaging through Europe they catapulted dead palgue victims over the walls of Kaffa, it is thought that may have been the source of The Black Death which killed between 75 and 200 million people.

Do you hate on the Mongol people?

Aztec King Ahuitzotl's coronation in around 1486 was celebrated with the human sacrifice of over 80,000 prisoners from conquered nations.

Is karma going to reap justice on the descendants of the Aztecs?

In1710 Iroquois Indians poisoned water sources used by British forces with animal hides contaminated with amongst other things E.coli.

Karma will really suck all right...

Agent Orange caused the deaths of a conservative estimate of 400,000 people.
The Red Cross estimate that around 1,000,000 people in Vietnam are still alive today with health issues directly attributable to Agent Orange.

If karma is a reality then I wonder what the future has in store for the nation responsible for that?

Well, I didn't conquer anybody. I can only stand account for what I did with my life, not what my great, great, great, etc grandparents took part in.
And neither can anyone else

Pride or shame in your countrys history is pointless considering you didn't do any of it. You luck of the draw were born on a patch of dirt that someone named long before you were even a thought.

I like history, I enjoy reading of the battles worldwide that defines our nations as they stand today...but all it is, is ancient history...and ya, its not a shock that warfare has gone on longer than the past decade. Matter of fact, most lines on the globe was made at the point of a sword/gun/etc. What of it. its how nations start.

What a person is, in regards to their nationality, is what they do with it, not what others did with it before them. Everyone is an ambassador.

Your arguments are silly. Remember the US led war on terror in Iraq that has killed over 1 million innocent people.

Drone strikes in countries you are not even at war with?

Dont get me wrong, I totally disagree with the way OUR countries are acting internationally, like most British people do. But by your argument you still say the British people are more to blame then the US people.

We are not responsible for our goverments, they are corrupt and do not keep promises once elected. We are all just ordinary people trying to live ordinary lives. Blaming people of a country is taking the blame away from the GLOBALIST governments. You cannot use recent wars as examples to demonize Britain as they are all US led actions in this phony war on terror.....a phrase coined by the US govt. Can I blame you personally for the 1 million people who have died in Iraq? Im intelligent enough to know it isn't your fault. How come you cannot see this?

It's your fault the true american people were practically wiped out!!!....there, how does that make you feel?

Do you agree to take the blame for the native americans massacre or do you think it is a silly comment. Now apply your answer to your comments about the British people.

See, it's just common sense. If you did vote for Ron Paul then I thought you wouldn't be this intolerant of other people.

There is no doubt that the British government has been involved in the shaping of this world into what it is today by invading and colonizing different countries throughout the history...As an Iranian I can write books regarding Britain's interferences and sabotages in Iranian internal affairs, and it all started in the 60's,,1760's that is....Anyways,,whats in the passed is all past,,,or is it?....The only thing good ever come out of England is Pink Floyd and Jaguar,,,or perhaps Austin Martin.

I am proud of our history Glad, and i will explain why. In history, we are the only nation that has gone about Empire Building in a non traditional way (the traditional way being invasion and whole sale slaughter).

We went in for economic Empire with admittedly the odd slip here and there into outright atrocity but then what Empire hasn't done that? By and large we went for peaceful expansionism.........and then stole the jewels.

Admittedly, our version set the way for the US version (which is like an upgrade in terms of economic power) but nevertheless, as a Empire i am proud of what we achieved. Our way beats the hell out of Alexanders way or the Mongol Way (for example).

Actually, re reading this i will admit that we "borrowed" our version of Empire from the Dutch (they just weren't very good at it).
