Yes comrades, glorious mother Russia will soon ally with the penguins and bring down the Imperialist American occupation of Antarctica
. Dude, give me a break, Russia resuming patrols down south wont make America "behave", in fact, it seems unlikely that this policy will have any effect on U.S. foreign policy.

Or... Admiral Byrd was right about Hollow Earth, and they are positioning themselves to fight off the aliens inside.

Hello A4u, ATS Readers, Writers,

I know how you meant what you said..and yes, it is a form of "standing up". It is really political posturing, or spraying of testosterone upon the high seas.

Russia has said on many occasions and in different "venues" about its' growing frustration and budding intolerance when it comes to USA and/or the "Wests" actions.

There was one even where Putin mentioned the "N" word... if needed to put a stop to the bullying going on.

I agree with several posters though that it probably won't affect foreign policy of the USA, except maybe make the war hawks drool a bit at the thought.

I am guessing the new deployment area wouldn't do much except perhaps cause the US to deploy a couple of hunter type subs to the region.

Maybe a reversal of Reagans tactics on the USA... cause some sort of a cold war, or technology war that bankrupts the USA off the charts..make the USA have a 20 year bow out like Russia did.

It worked for Reagan, why not Putin?

Absolute bollocks. John Titor claimed World War III would start in 2015 after the USA had broken up in to five regions as the result of a civil war which began in 2004 and reached a nationwide climax in 2008.

As I'm sure you're aware, there was no civil war and the USA has not broken up into five regions. Titor was lying.

His 2015 prediction is now even less likely than it has ever been. None of his predictions have come true. Not one.

Yeah, his statement about the two large building missing from New York must also have been a lie. Diverging timelines were also discussed by Titor.

Putin is like Alex Jones.

A NWO agent pretending to be the good guy who opposes the NWO.

He is secretly in bed with them.

Look on the R T Website, even American people are glad to see America being stood up too now, everyone hates America, yes even Americans, yes great news, America wiped off the map would make many in UK happy & Europe, not too sure as to why everyone hates America, maybe it's the leader of USA folk hate so mush, sorry I'n honestly not sure, but we sure are glad to see Russia back under Putin, that we can all say.

That's not true. At least not in my experience, and that's coming from a Brit of 45 years of age.

I don't see or hear any anti-American sentiment, or general bad feeling towards Americans in Britain.

We tend not to like 21st century imperialism shown by the USA and the UK for that matter, but you could describe the Brits as more anti-murdering innocent brown and tanned people around the world, rather than anti-American...becuase we don't like some of the things that you do, doesn't mean we don't like you.

I don't like my wife farting in bed...doesn't mean i don't like her.

Is this all another distraction hiding another agenda? If you believe it..aren't the entrances to the inner earth caverns supposed to be in the north and south poles?

I don't actually believe either Russia, America, China or India, for that matter, will fight each other with their nuclear subs etc because I think the trouble will come from some rogue country and we have several nasty little sabre rattlers all possibly with weapons of some horrible description.

Whatever the 'main players' say they are doing, do we actually believe them anyway today - do any of them have any credibility?

So, you would like to see over 300 million people wiped off the Earth? You can be anti American all you like, but that's just Evil. You do understand M.A.D. right? They launch against us, we launch and everybody dies. But, as long as the U.S. is gone, it's all good. YAY RUSSIA

Sorry pal,if the U.S. falls it will have a devastating,domino-effect across the entire globe.

I'm sure there would be many difficulties the first year. Mostly about bussiness being divided over other countries. Orders/work which used to go to the US would go to other countries and they would bloom because of it. And maybe those other countries would do better, having learned from the US' mistakes and would actually prevent indebting themselves.

I wonder if the sense of grandeur becomes the cause of the US' fall, if it were to happen. The US declining, other countries progressing, but do Americans ever readjust their views of themselves and other countries? No, they appear more each day like a psychiatric patient convinced he is the Messiah and without them everything crumbles like everyone and everything depends on them. Meanwhile they have massive debts and all kinds of social issues, an ever increasing number of people with mental problems, the list goes on. Not that I want to see the US or any other country fall or anything but some people need to wake up from their American Dream and start to realize it can become a nightmare if things don't change. A little competition could do that but if the US doesn't see other countries as competition they will find themselves surpassed one day.

Aww didums the USA may not be the sole superpower anymore didums.

Who said the USA should be the only super power.

Deal with it just dont start a war over it.

And if the USA is patrolling subs everywere and stationing troops and equipment all over the world then why should'nt another counrty? What gives the USA the right to do all those things?

Yes it is.

Look up the term "Balance of power", then "Mutually assured destruction" and when you did that, look up "New American Century".

You're not English. You must be a Russian emigrant in UK. I can tell by your illiterate post and the repetition of few words in your reply. WE ARE SURE TO SEE RUSSIA BACK UNDER PUTIN? Nobody is happy to see a bunch of ex KGB (turned criminal tycoons and mafiosi) with their very doubtful billions taking the power and resume the old conflicts (cold war) by making this world even more an unsafe place to live in.

So next time just say I'm Russian and to screwed up in my head with hate toward USA. Don't call yourself an English or even talk in the name of Europeans. No sane English person hates American people. God knows how many of them (of course in a distant past) are blood related. Hate is more Slavic and barbaric concept. Instead of hating others try to learn that most of the people in this world make a living in an honest way, with their sweat and hard work and not with criminal activity, illegal trafficking and by selling their women on the internet as brides. United States of America is a great nation with great people. One of the most important engines of progress in the world. Not being able to distinguish the government from the people shows mental deficiency and a pathology of hate which strangely is being fueled in abundance in today Russia. Whatever you say, whatever you do, the gap between you and USA is huge. You can try to resume all the "controls" of the seas and oceans...and so forth. At the end is just logical to accept that one cannot be what he's not meant to be.

Good news would be that America withdraws from Europe. As for that Russia is no longer a dictatorship. And do tell me is America a dictatorship? yes it is.

Sure I don't mind the USA getting out of Europe.
Let Europe deal with it's own messes. I'm personally tired of my tax dollars paying to fix their problems.

America isn't a dictatorship. It's a Corporatocracy. So no it's not.

I'm English and I love Americans. You have great taste in music, you make the best movies and you gave birth to Ron Burgundy! What's not to like?

I just wish both our governments would stop milking us so they can kill more poor people.
