Guitarist Kevin Lawrence has uploaded a track on the internet which he claims to feature a young Axl Rose on vocals.
Recorded in 1983 with a LA metal band called Rapidfire, this is reportedly one of five tracks the then 21-year-old did with the band and would be one of the earliest known studio recordings of Axl Rose.
According to Bravewords, "Rapidfire appeared at Gazzarri’s On The Sunset Strip in in Los Angeles. The band featured singer Axl Rose, who was seen for the first time by guitarist SLASH who was in the audience. Before Guns N' Roses there was Hollywood Rose. Before Hollywood Rose there was Rapidfire."
