Too many times when I find replies in Messages, when I click on them I am taken to the NEXT page of thread, and the reply is at the bottom of the page before it. Why is this happening?

This is a long-standing bug that happens in other situations.
E.g. you write a reply to a post, click on "reply", and then find yourself at the top of a completely non-existent page, and having to "go back" instead to get back to the original post.
This may be on a "to do" list somewhere

Yeah, that's happened a few times, but lately my original concern has been a daily thing.

Try clearing out your cookies, internet history, and browser cache. Lot's of times, it's just because our computers are chunked up.

If it was a systemwide ATS bug, others'd be complainin'.

More than likely, it is a local problem on your computer.

Why is this happening?

A better question is why you find this irritating enough to start a thread on...

Oh wait...you're jiggerj.

Ha ha. I've ignore it for as long as I've been here, but it's been happening so frequently that it stays on my mind.

I get notification of a message when I try to open there is nothing to read. It all began when I received a message titled Warning and despite me contacting mods, supermods, and admins I still get notifications and a blank message. I have now received a point deduction penalty but for what I have no idea.

Frankly I am feeling quite disillusioned over all this which is a real shame because I have always admired and enjoyed this site. I done the delete history/cookies thing and its has made no difference, can anyone please offer any assistance on this one. Please dot try to message me because I won't be able to access it.

Kind regards

I would suggest trying to clear your cookies.
Log out and log back in.
Clear your cache.

Because you can send messages...I can read them.

When did you last do that?
Which browser are you using? Is it up to date?
Any other site issues?

I figure it has to do with allotted broadband per page during posting?

Well, if you can read the last one...maybe it's now fixed.
I don't think the fix can be retroactive.
Let me send you another as a test....and if that works....I'll do some checking and resend what needs explaining....

Happens to me too sometimes. Especially if it is my last post on a thread, then I have to go back to the beginning and find the end again. Is annoying, but workable.
