It is as simple as that. Truly become so quiet that you can listen.

Your heart wants to communicate with you and teach you to live out your destiny.

Your treasure is where your heart is.

This book may help you to understand better: it is called the alchemist. If you google it you will certainly find a free pdf version, but it is not a bad purchase.

I read that book. It´s a great read.

It´s hard to listen to your heart when your logical mind kicks in.

Learned many valuable lessons in that book, though.

Paulo Coelho is a wise man.

I'm reading one now called The Table of Inwardness by Miller. It's a small book and old. Amazon has them. Thanks for the tip on the Alchemist. I ordered a copy.

It is a great book, and one that led me to other great books, like A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. Then on to the works of Alan Watts and Tom Campbell.
Lots of great info out there...

Can you give a summary in what "The Alchemist" says? Most of us do not have a clue what you are talking about and are not able to read the book from our location...

What type of words of wisdom does it say?

It's about a shepard boy who likes to travel and see the world. He meets a king who tells him to give everything up to go to Egypt to find his treasure.

He gives up everything and follows the destiny set for him by God, finds the love of his life, sets out towards egypt and becomes nothing less than you might call "enlightened". He finds the treasure, and it is not what he expects but is greater than he could have imagined if he did not go.

One of my favorite quotes from the books was, "the fear of suffering is worse than suffering itself."
But the book altogether made my heart glow. It's well worth the read,

peace.

Your treasure is where your heart is.

This is truth, but each person's treasure is different...

One can not have two masters...

I read the book few years ago. And it's just like OP said, it's a great story

Some tips:
If your Mind is noisy, just Mind-lock (focus on) Your Heart (the spot where happy, love feeling comes from)
You can use Spiritual/Relaxation Musics to help Mind-locking on Your Heart.
