Help me remember a cool old movie

I think it was about the late 70's. The movie is about a stunt actor. In one part of the movie he went to a concert of a rock group, friends of him. I think the name of the group in the movie was "The wizards" or simlar. One on the group was a crazy magician that looks like Gandalf of Lord of the rings. Lots of theatrical scenes while the group plays.

I just can't remember the name of the movie or the real name of the group. HELP !!!

I don't know.

Other part of the movie I remember is when the magician put him inside a box and made him burn to the bones in the middle of the concert, of course the guy shows up later.
