Come down peeps, it isn't my fault that they decided to put an alien head on the badge.
And honey, get your facts straight, it's not an airplane, it's a helicopter, and those wings are not part of it

So why is it an alien head and not a praying mantis head? Or how bout a bee? A hornet? If you look at it, it can be a grasshopper head too. Why not, right? Why can't it be? That's because it isn't any of those. Its a cartoonish rendition of a helicopter. Nothing more.

Geez, you're the third grey in this thread who is in denial of yours self existance on Earth.
What is wrong with grey aliens nowdays?

We know what we look like, and we dont look like the front of a Huey

Face it dude, even the majority of us UFO geeks dont think the badge looks like a Grey, and thats because it DOES NOT

There is an Alien head on that Huey ! They put it there by design to hide it from us...I mean what a concept...design an entire Helicopter with the head of an Alien on it and then later create a badge also with the head of an alien on it....its a perfect design concept.....my XBOX controller also resembles the Alien ship the Alien arrived in

For the sake of argument, even if it REALLY is an alien head, what exactly does that prove? The fact is that "alien heads" are part of popular culture. You find them on buttons, refrigerator magnets, decals, bumper stickers, etc. at any two-bit junk store from Roswell to Seattle. They are ubiquitous. You can't find hardly anyone who does not recognize the motif.....

including guys in the Army who make up badges and patches for their units. Here's how it goes down:

Bubba: I've seen a gazillion screaming eagles trailing fire. Yuck
John Boy: We need something seriously different.
Bubba: Scar face is an artiste. Hey, Scarface, whaddya think?
Scarface: I'm thinking maybe an alien.
Bubba: An alien? WTF is that?
Scarface: You know, an alien head with them big eyes staring at ya. Look:
(Scarface quickly does a sketch of a creepy alien head.)
John Boy: Now that is totally cool!
Bubba: Yeah, and it will freak out some of those conspiracy nutjobs, too.
John Boy: I say go for it. Deal?
Bubba: Deal
Scarface: Deal

I am still considering why this is even a thread.....

"Yeah got my air assault badge, now I am ready for the alien force".....said no trooper ever......

Sorry, I just dont see it, looks like a Huey to me

After carefully considering the OP....Your avatar...back to the OP and your avatar a couple times? I must agree. I see no resemblance. It looks like a Huey to me.

Now that patch someone posted? Hey now....where on Earth or elsewhere...did that come from?

It's possible, but the conversation would more likely end like this:
Scarface: Deal
John Boy: goodnight Scarface, goodnight Bubba
Bubba: goodnight Scarface, Goodnight John boy.

The real conspiracy here: The Huey's design is clearly based on an alien head. The Huey was designed in the 1950s. How far back does this go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Mr. Artist, although you did a great job on depicting alien head, you completely missed to draw a straight line on the bottom part

I am convinced with your explanation , that looks like an alien head

Why bother making a grey on a badge?Oh its conspiracy time?

You are on ATS, it's always conspiracy time. Otherwise you would be on MSN.

Edit: On topic: It does look like an alien head to me, more than a huey anyways.

No offense? Really? Obviously you mean to be offensive!

Go back to fairy land

I am in fairyland in this thread.

Hehehe

Why are comments such as yours not removed for T&C violations?

First, you blatantly insult someone. Then you run with it for another one-liner that's unrelated to the OP.

You do that in quite a few threads. What's the deal? Why can't you just not comment on a thread you believe is in "fairly land?"

On topic: Yeah I don't really see much. At first glance I saw a grey, but after seeing a picture of the helo it makes sense. But, the way the emphasis is on the 'bottom' of the badge does make it look like eyes. That's just my perception, though.
