Screw obozo, screw cameron, screw the nwo - their scheme is falling apart.

If only there were insiders who would put this crap to rest.

The UK doesn't have a choice who the "elect", and the US doesn't have a choice who the "elect".

You can see all the dolts out there hoping to start another war in the middle east - screw all of that - leave us people alone - you go get your sons and daughters killed for an extra dollar or two in your pocket - leave our kids out of it.

The best thing Britain can do is stay out of any trade agreements and steer clear of the EU. If Obama is warning that there could be repercussions they could only be good ones if history serves as an adequate warning.

The US have warned us before of this. We will not be leaving the EU anytime soon.

But if the UK leaves EU then Europe will fall flat on it's face. I think the UK can manage their own currencies. Heck why don't they team up with Australia and become a duel nation of it's own. Isn't that what they want?

Lol.

Like the Australians would want to bring in the mess that is the UK and their unregulated banks to drag them down.
Never going to happen just like your little EU split vote.

"Nutz"

Patton did not say 'nuts', but I cannot remember who did! (it was during the siege of Bastogne, Belgium)

I guess you forgot about Uncle Sam's "other" closest ally, Isreal?
The UK, like any other nation, is just a tool to the US Corporate State.
If they don't do what the US want's, the Goobermint will have no choice, but to have a hissy-fit!!

Cheers..

Obama can keep his nose out, it's none of his business. Nor is it the business of anyone else in the US.

The people of Britain want to leave the unelected socialist dictatorship that is the EU. And that's final.

Well we have been through the whole running the world thing and for some years now we have tried working with the rest of (most of) the world, Maybe its time for us to take lead again and withdraw from it all and just build again from within?

The UK will still be trading with Europe regardless, 'business is business', many obfuscate
this insinuating leaving the EU means no trade with EU members , absolutely absurd.

As soon as the EU falls down the better for everyone living inside it. Burn baby burn.

For all that Britain has done for the US and continues to do and support. The US should be bending over backwards and kissing British butt. So many British military have sacrificed along side American military and Britain has been the closest Allie the US has or will ever have in the world. Britain might be across the pond from us in the US but we are one in the same when it comes to fighting the good fight and doing right by al of our people when the occasion calls for it.

The Obama administration should be shamed of itself if it carries on this bullish behavior. Britain has already taken enough abuse by the US since 9/11 with regard to military and security concerns. I am sad.

Now this is an attention grabber. It leaves me, as a first impression, asking a simple question. Have we no true allies as we see the world any longer? Is Britain 'Just another country' on par with every other nation in the world for treatment and solutions? It would seem so, at least to some.

It's a bad thing to consider as the US is anything but in a position of strength itself, at the moment. It may be we who need help in the foreseeable future. If we have burned traditional 'Brother' nations, and Allies among Allies for profit and political advantage.....who will stand and give aid to us if the time ever does come to ask?

Hmm..what's wrong with being on par with every other nation ? It's this kind of mentality that gets people into trouble and also as we see here, countries.
When you/your country start considering itself above (almost)everyone else.
Have you burned your brother nations..rad ...have you burned your bridges and are now stranded on the last piece of an unfinished suspended bridge ? basically stranded in the middle of nowhere ?
Though luck...or maybe i should say ''reality check''...us people in Europe, the mainland, the Eu ...whatever you want ot call us when you look down on us, romanians!, bulgarians, french, germans, austrians, etc etcc..only want ot be part of somethign great. The EU. which will give us a foot in the door labeled ''global economy'' against China and the US.
That's the whole plan.
You brits think you're special and still have an empire (insert 6 hour long laugh here....). You want to be an island all the way to the very end. You're too good for us lame european on the mainland.
Oh really ?

Scare mongering, as with Germany, the USA know how important we are for European trade. Take us out of Europe and it is no more, the USA would HAVE TO renegotiate every trade deal whilst the EU crumbles.

In the long run, it's easier to berate and isolate us, then wait for the inevitable.

No..they wouldn't HAVE TO anything. They would have to deal with the EU, and ignore UK. Simple. So that leave UK as a perfect island with nothing to bargain with.

Sadly, even if the Brits say 'No', the puppeteers will have them vote again and again an again, until the outcome is to their liking. In my country citizens didn't get asked to begin with, since the government was certain we probably would say 'No' as well. I know I would have.

Really - we are made to believe that all good Germans are pro EU.

I am pro a free trade EU and free movement between the original countries.

BUT - one govt [ unelected and in Brussels], one monetary system - which is bankrupting Spain etc, mass movement of people across borders from the old East into the West, in such a short time period and creating instability - not good.

the EU will collapse or it will explode, in our lifetimes.

haha I agree - but the present lot are too creepy to do that - they have no back bone or moral compass.

The prestige that accompanies the US president is intoxicating and the current UK politicos love the reflected glory.

I advise the US Marines to tell Obama to piss off though - especially when he makes them hold umbrellas over his head and makes them look like geisha girls !

Yes but I think you will find there are lucrative concessions on trade for EU members, that is the whole point of it. It is cheaper and more financaly sound to trade with EU members if you are member of the club rather than trading with NON EU members.

Thats is why EU members states make up the majority of the UKs trading habbits. However there are particular produce we create such as Weapons that we cannot sell in the EU, we have many obligations to a lot of our colonies and offshore tax havens. America also takes a hefty percentage of our books too, the UK makes a fortune selling nuclear reactor technology.

If we leave the EU however, what have previously been lucrative trade deals with EU members may not be so lucrative anymore. So a corporation that is not getting there trade subsidized by the EU parliament may realise it is cheaper to export to another market, or even outsource it.

And im not entirely sure about this, but I can look into and im pretty sure that it is a case. Withing the EU particular nations will be awarded specific contracts to help facilitate areas of need withing the EU.

Say for example the EU needs of livestock feed, maybe the UK gets the contract to supply all livestock for the EU, great, bit of money in it for us. Maybe we leave, why would the EU use us?, lets just now award that contract to Poland. Cya Britain. I imagine we have developed specific industries and maybe even invested heavily into them to in order to reap the rewards of lucrative trade contracts with the EU. When we are no longer in the EU POOF!, gone. We either invade some crappy third world nation and push all this surplus stuff they dont need onto them, maybe even give them a loan to buy it from us lol or we compete with the likes of the U.S and China. Which I do not believe we can do, cause were broke as hell.
