Now before anyone comments on the date of my offering, let me just say that I am aware of it, but after searches on ATS I did not find it posted.

I came across this video a few days ago. I had not heard about it, and it's touched me. It has been on my mind ever since, on how a family of a missing loved one can go on for years without any information to satisfy that need to know, to know exactly what happened to their father and his missing submarine.

In the video below, their answer apparently came not through their own government but through a historian documenting enemy activities.

If you weren't aware of this story, I hope you will find it a fitting item to think about and reflect on during this Memorial Day.

Thanks for your appreciation. I'm sure there are many more. Two of my relatives were in the merchant marine and were lost at sea with no exact news to this day about their voyage.
