Cody, I did point out, gently, that the coffee cup shards were not going to jump into the trash on their own. Now the shards of what used to be a statue on the mantlepiece are not doing pretty much the same thing. I seriously doubt if that hole in the wall will repair itself either. I told her she was allowed to also pick up some sheetrock compound on her way to replace the coffee cup. That was a couple of days ago - the line at the checkout must be pretty long. I think I'm going to have her redecorate - in foam rubber. As soon as I get back from the pub. A man has to set his priorities, you know!

Sorry that flew right over my head the first time I read it.

I wouldn't worry about the time scale for the shopping though

My wife's map reading skills are somewhat deficient as well.

I'm all for equality, and not just with the housework:

True story:

I have a friend that is a confirmed bachelor

Whenever he hears those words "Maybe I should leave some of my stuff here" out comes the spare toothbrush and it is left in the jar in the bathroom.

"who's toothbrush is this ?" They always ask.
his reply "what toothbrush ?"
Cue sheepish look and next girlfriend on the way .

I would hate to live like that but bare it in the back of your mind...................Just in case.

And to her, each gentle reminder is just another "turn" of the "screw"

Oddly enough there isn't much screwing going around here

Note to self
Remind Mrs C later

That's why I don't understand it when wives get upset with their cheating husbands. Those thoughtful fellows are just taking one chore off the list to help them out. Jeez!

NO, NO, NO!

Heloise tells me that it's not the fault of the washing machine - she said you simply left it in the dryer too long!

My missus said she wanted me to "violate" her, so I wrote her a ticket and left it on her windshield.

Doc says he can take the cast off in only six more weeks, so I can write her two more tickets. I guess one was just not enough.

My what a strange coincidence My wife came into the lounge yesterday morning (forgetting my coffee again)
and said. Come back to the bedroom and make me feel like a a woman

I dutifully followed her, took off my shirt dropped it to the floor and said

Pick that up and wash it beatch.

Ill remind her later to pick up the broken vase at the same time to save her a trip.

They do look impressive don't they...aren't there any less expensive knock-offs around?

There might be ... however I am always worried about cheap knock-offs that only go as far as making it look like the real deal without any of the internal engineering works to back it up.

In that case it's no better than buying a fake designer bag off the street.
