Since Iran is Muslim, and suicide bombers are common among Muslims, one wonders if Iran cares at all what Israel can do.

It appears to me, that the only thing Iran cares about, is what Iran can do. They will build up the strongest military deterrent they can, and they will use it regardless of the consequences, when the time comes, if provoked.

That's the difference between Israel and Iran.

Israel is "calculating", while Iran is "preparing".

Vahidi did not specify who was the “enemy” and said Iran would never start a war.

These missiles don't even have to be live/viable. You set them up in 'strategic' positions and wait for Israel to feel threatened enough to take them out. Then you didn't "start" the war, Israel did.

The Iranian elections are a total charade. The Ayatollah and his council have already chosen the (conveniently all right wing) candidates. It really doesn't matter a bit who actually gets elected. They will simply follow the plan that's been handed to them.

These Iranian idiots are more than 50 years behind, Iranian long range missles are not threat to U.S. main land. Iran would be another training exercise like Iraq, they buy all the russian crap that is out dated. People please relax, they are no threat.

imho the Muslims in the region are trying to separate the US from Israel, and there is a growing number of pols in the US that will go along with that. I suspect they are using carrot (oil) and stick (missiles) to coax us to abandon Israel, which could mean sitting idly by while a Muslim alliance attempts to remove Israel once and for all.
there's a LOT of folks in that part of the world that will not rest until Israel is gone.

The Arab states want Iran gone not Israel. Israel is no threat to them but, Iran is. If the US ever moves on Iran it will hand in hand with the Arab states with Isreal sitting out.

So, technically speaking, the price of oil at the pump SHOULD NOT be impacted by any turmoil in the middle east for at least 90 days after the fact. However, because most people are ignorant of this information, oil companies get away with gouging the price of oil at the pump whenever there is a spike in the price of crude oil.

Also, this information is very far from a war alert, rofl. Many countries have some kind of military display when a new leader is elected or a great achievement in some field is made.

I don't think the Iranians are talking about the capabilities of their arsenal. But as other posters have said, nothing that would threaten mainland US. Now the export terminals at Ras Tanura on the Persian Gulf are a different story.

If they hit those, and essentially cut off the Saudi oil supply, then all bets are off. Iran has to know they have no chance of taking on the US and its allies, but they could sure make them pay for doing so.

That makes the OP a bit bonkers, The US and others may be a bit itchy and scratchy to get at Iran, but because the Ayatollah may have piles of some sort and goes on a rant now and then is a poor excuse. Unlike OBL, who used to work for the US, may have done something particularly bad and ended up sort of dead, even though he was never indicted. Unlike Saddam, who used to work for somebody who ended up dead because he didn't have weapons of mass destruction, but because he wasn't a nice feller.

So if something does happen, it is going to be a powder keg. One thing for sure, if it does, you better have a tank full of gas cause prices will skyrocket.

They are a smart nation that could reverse engineered everything and sanctions are good for them because they rely on themselves and some friends to get along. They have some good friends in China and Russia et al and they got away because they are too big to be intimidated.

BREAKING - Israel Will Bomb Russian Missiles Sent to Syria

The Russians are planning on sending the S-300 anti aircraft system to Syria. The Israelis are saying that they will bomb that shipment on route, or within Syrian borders.

The European embargo on sending arms to Syria is being lifted within the next few days(we all know that the embargo didn't mean squat).....however, now it's official.

NOTE: If a Russian shipment is bombed and or if Russian soldiers are killed while shipping these missiles, then we will enter a whole new ball game.
