Ofcourse they'd cover their own asses, thats part and parcel of Jihad. What i find amazing is they all know who the people are that plan these things, yet they don't bother to turn them over to the authorities.

You know this how?

Please, explain - how did anybody outside this guys immediate circle know what he was going to do?

Show me actual proof of it other than an asinine assumption based on sheer ignorance.

Last time I checked precogs only existed in the fiction of Minority Report. So please enlighten me

(Incidentally, while you are at it please tell me why you didn't warn the Norweigian authorities about Anders Brevik before he killed 77 people and injured 319 others, on behalf of all the white christians out there, because according to the logic you display here, you knew, right?)

But... shockingly... there are actual real, vile, nasty, disgusting racists who crop up on ATS. And usually they do so after such an event because, well, such awful evil and despicable things give them chance to spew their knuckle dragging hatred.

Here is a survey (from a couple of years ago) that you may find interesting, although I suspect that you won't like it.

The survey is from the UK.

"If a new party was set up that wants to defend the English, create an English parliament, control immigration, challenge Islamic extremism, restrict the building of Mosques and make all public buildings fly the George Cross or the Union Jack."

21% definitely support it
27% consider supporting it
10% undecided
15% probably not support it
27% definitely not support it

Fear & Hope

48% of UK people would definitely vote or consider voting for an anti-Islamic extremism party. 42% would definitely or probably not support it. The poll is a couple of years old.

So I slept on this and overnight I developed an interesting perspective.

As I speak for everybody on this thread (using the logic of some of the people who are posting here) and every Caucasian christian (little known fact, I was baptised and raised as a methodist) AND subsequently - when I found I couldn't actually follow the religion - atheist, I can single handedly solve the worlds problems by declaring that everything is OK with the various worlds religions, that we all trust people of other faiths and actively condemn those who commit atrocities for what they are.

Sorted. Right?

I'm afraid that you have your work cut out for you.

The following are from a 2006 Survey

• 54% of British Muslims polled felt that there is a conflict being a devout Muslim and living in a Western society. 35% saw no conflict

• British Muslims polled described Westerns as selfish (67%), arrogant (64%) and violent (52%)

• 12% of British Muslims polled claimed that many or most British Muslims support Al Qaeda.

Pew Research

You have your work cut out.

I don't get why you keep putting surveys up in this thread.

As I mentioned earlier, over one hundred and twenty seven thousand people in the UK claim to be Jedi Knights in the last national census.

Now thats not true, and I know its not true because I was one of them and so far I've not been able to lift my car up off the road with the force while I change a tyre.

34,435 Americans were stupid enough to petition the Obama administration to build a Death Star.

18% of Americans think the sun revolves around the Earth (thats 56 million people, btw)

11% of Americans couldn't identify their own country on a map (thats 34 million people, btw)

With that level of intelligence, is anyone in the US actually capable of making an informed decision about anything?

See, I can lob all kinds of statistics at you...about all kinds of stuff. Its pointless rubbish

98.24% of statistics are made up on the spot.

So, lets not be futile, shall we?

Surveys provide insight into British Muslims attitudes.

It is puzzling that you choose to reject the validity of empirical surveys carried out by reputable polling agencies.

Evidence is evidence. Your personal opinions are not.

But your statistics are just illustrating that Americans can't find the USA on a map and the like. Totally irrelevant to this thread.

Here is a survey on the other hand carried out by YouGov, a reputable polling agency on Muslim British student attitudes.

• 40% want Sharia law introduced into British Law for Muslims.

• 33% want the introduction of a worldwide Caliph, while 25% are opposed. 41% are not sure.

• 59% felt it was important that women wear the hijab but only 31% felt a women should be forced to wear one.

• 40% felt than men and women should not be allowed to associate freely together, while 12% were not sure.

• 32% felt it could be justifiable to kill in the name of religion.

• 57% fell that Muslims serving on the UK armed forces should have the right to opt out if the British army is fighting in a Muslim country.

• 16% felt the punishment that Gillian Gibbons received (the British teacher in Sudan who was sent to prison for 15 days after naming a teddy-bear ‘Mohammed’) was just right or not harsh enough. 19% were not sure.

Link

What can be stated is that many Muslim students polled hold views that can best be described as radical.

40% felt than men and women should not be allowed to associate freely together, while 12% were not sure.

Jezz.

Do you ever stop and think what you are defending?

Why was this muder surprising?
Islam is a religion founded on the "priciples" of a sociopathic pedophile whose respect for the life and freedom of his adversaries and allies alike was nonexistent.

Why are we surprised that followers of such a person would emulate his despicable behavior and ridiculous beliefs?

Religion of peace????
Give me a break....

I'm not defending anything.

You seem to think that views of a minority of the 2.7million Muslims in the Muslims should bother me. They don't, for a couple of reasons - there are 67million other people in the UK (and more than 2million of those are muslims) , and the other is that, despite your continued attempts to try and promote your apparent hatred - and yes, that's how its now coming across because you want to perist with it - my real, actual day to day experiences don't back it up.

So all I can conclude is the following.

You dislike Muslims
You want other people to dislike Muslims
Which basically means you have let the extremists win.
You are actually doing their bidding by trying to promote a cultural divide, as you can't accept the extreme minority don't speak for the overall majority

The world must be a very sad place for you because you are so very oobviously scared of it and I feel sorry for you.

I'm highlighting this for all of those "why don't they condemn it?" posters out there who cannot tell the difference between the actions of a minority and the actions of the majority.

I've seen - and as staff had to react to - an awful lot of racism on here recently.

Lots of people post "why don't they apologise for..." or "why don't they condemn..." or "why don't they seek out...." - well here's the deal - do any of us apologise for every murder? Every atrocity that someone commits? The answer is no, we don't - and when it boils down to it irregardless of faith these are just people who usually go about their everyday lives and are as appalled by the actions of extremists as the rest of us are.

Yes, we see a minority of muslims come out and say "those terrorists are bad, what they did was bad" and other nonsense like "they don't represent islam".

Yet the majority DO support what the terrorists do. That's why they are able to exist within muslim communities around the world. Because they are accepted and protected and treated as equals.
They are not frowned upon, as some liars and conartists would have you believe. They are adored.

Take the Catholic child abuse priests as an example.
They were within the church, and were protected for decades. They were able to exist and do what they did, because they were protected, and accepted by their peers.
When one was found out, rather then turn him over to the police, they shuffled them around like musical chairs, sending them to other parishes to continue their abuse.

The same thing goes on with the muslim extremists in muslim communities.
They are protected and accepted by their muslim peers.

These 5,000 muslims, they are more worried about being victimized as muslims by the general population, then anything else. They don't give a # about what happened, they don't care about the dead man or his family. They don't care that it was wrong what happened. They don't even view it as wrong.

What they are worried about is them selves.
Islam is a two faced religion of hypocrites and liars who will snake you and stab you in the back when they get an opportunity to do it.

What are you taught at school about right and wrong?
If someone does the wrong thing, tell a teacher/authority about it.
It doesn't work like that in islam. Otherwise these terrorists wouldn't be able to exist and survive within muslim communities.

When are people like you going to wake up and stop peddling your politically correct nonsense?
The Balkans went through 400 years of muslim occupation, degredation, and oppression.
When the revolution against them finally started, other muslim nations, like Egypt joined in against the Christians.

Do you want an occupation of western Europe before you wake up and realize that no good comes from Islam?

Yes it is. It's called being religious

I Know many Muslims. I like them just fine. I wouldn't want to live in a country where they made the rules though. How about you?

I want people to understand what Muslims actually think and what Islam is. It is a complete religious/political system than doesn't do integration.

To quote the current Prime Minister of Turkey when talking about Turkish immigrants to Germany

"I repeat... assimilation is a crime against humanity," Erdogan said in a speech to parliament in Ankara.

EuropeNews

The Turkish PM also stated

'The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.'

That extreme minority is actually quite large.

For instance,

• 68% of British Muslims survey believe that people who insult Islam should be arrested and prosecuted CBS

I take comfort in the fact that I can justify my opinions with empirical evidence.

My opponents on the other hand cannot challenge the facts I present and are reduced to ad hominem attacks on my character.

What is clear is that the tide of public opinion is not moving in your direction.

Well, a lot of things can pass off as "empirical evidence"...

like posting FBI statistics on black crime and concluding "blacks are more likely to commit crime"

Or posting World war 1 and 2 statistics and concluding "White Christians are more likely to kill each other"

Your stats are pretty much within the same line of reasoning.

All of the statisitcs I have presented are from respected polling organizations.

I suspect that you just don't like what they present.

The question is how long before they take over the U.K. and the U.S.

As much as i have learned and read on the islam religion, i am not impressed.
It seems you either believe what they teach, or they kill you.
Great way to spread love...

I think i will pass, it would be a cold day... well you know the rest....

Sadly i have never been the type to group people together, and never been
the type to cast bad on a group just because a few, but the more i learn about
islam the more i find out, its a all or nothing type of religion.

Both in the U.S. and the U.K. they are trying to take over, Something has to be
done , or they will. simple as that. Already in the U.S. they are making changes,
like this school, publicly funded by tax dollars, not a private school, but now it seems
it is ok for them to pray in school. But yet, it is against the rules for any christian to pray
and they gave up saying the pledge of allegiance because it might 'offend' someone.
To me, the fact that they are allowed prayer time in a public school and others are not
truly offends me. Not only that it flat ticks me off, enough that i am contacting officials to
get a answer as to why it is allowed. Sorry but it should be all or nothing, either everyone
can pray when they want, or no one can. After all its the public school system, not a private
school.

We had better wake up and take steps to curb this, or in 20 years, both countries will be
forever changed.

For Muslims as a whole to apologise for any atrocity that has happened "at the hands of a Muslim", it would be like they have accepted responsibility for it. You can't do that, the same way you can't expect white people to apologise for the slavery of black people. I have seen and spoke to many Muslims in the Woolwich area, and so far I have heard nothing but resounding disgust over the incident. Many people came here to avoid living in an area where this is commonplace, so to see it on their own front door again must be rather unsettling.

This is from a facebook post from a Muslim friend of mine:

(Qur'anic verse 5:32): “If anyone slays a person, it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.”
