Why are you shouting?

I wasn't shouting. I only enlarged both words so that you might notice that you quoted a word that I DID NOT use. Fortunately, that seems to have, finally, worked.

"Pertaining to socialists or socialism" does, indeed, justify my usage of the word "socialistic". Perhaps you should look up the definition of the word "pertaining".

If you are still confused, here is another definition of "socialistic":
Of, advocating, or tending toward socialism.

Policies "tending toward socialism" fits my usage perfectly! Go figure... It's no wonder that you wanted to change the word "socialistic" to "socialist", is it?

I think you already knew that though, didn't you?

Yep! I certainly did! That's why I was so persistent in denying your attempts to substitute the word "socialistic" with the word "socialist". They are not the same!

Social does not imply socialism, or "socialistic programs or agendas".

I never said, or even implied, that it did.

See ya,
Milt

Socialism is just an outdated concept that never had any merit in the first place, kept alive to keep the suckers believing that capitalism equates to feudalism, with the banking elites as the aristocracy.

If capitalism is private ownership of property, than what the free market scam has done is practically eliminate capitalism in the U.S., by eliminating private ownership of property.

Very few people own anything of any worth anymore except credit and debt. Everyone is making payments on their property in order to get more credit to buy more property. Title to anything of worth is held by the bankers. All monetary values are nothing but credits granted by the system.

Even the super rich do not actually own anything but credit and debt,.

As long as the new aristocracy that controls credit can keep enough of the people obsessed with socialism and the spectre of the welfare ghetto freeloaders, they can continue to eliminate individual property rights along with all of our other liberties, and smother us with the giant military police state that has been created to fight the socialist/communist boogie man.

Thus lots of people should be hated, liberals, Europeans, environmentalists, celebrities, on and on.

What do you mean if?

Capitalism was a term coined by the French SOCIALIST, Louis Blank in 1840. His definition of the term was, "The appropriation of capital by some to the exclusion of others". Capital being the machinery, property, and land privately owned and used to exploit labour.

No capitalist, or none socialist has a right to redefine that term. It was a derogatory term for people who exploit others because they are lucky enough to own property.

The definition of the term has since been more distinctly defined as "The private ownership of the means of production".

Capitalism is not free market, and the majority of industry the world over is privately owned, whether by individuals, share holders, or governments. The capitalist state, remember the MSM is also capitalist, simply demonised socialism in order to protect themselves.

Socialism is the workers ownership of the means of production, and is not outdated in any way shape or form. In fact it is still alive and well...

Even Obama is not a socialist...

Chrysler Workers Urge Obama to Support Ownership Push

It may not be the revolution’s dawn, but it’s certainly a glint in the darkness. On Monday, this country’s largest industrial labor union teamed up with the world’s largest worker-cooperative to present a plan that would put people to work in labor-driven enterprises that build worker power and communities, too.

Worker Ownership For the 21st Century?

It's the only answer there is to an economic system of exploitation that is failing the world right now. You ain't seen nothing yet, the more global the economy becomes, the more you will have to compete with for jobs. You know what that does? Decreases working class wages, and opportunities. Capitalism always looks for the cheapest labour market, because that is where real money is made. Not Wall Street, which is nothing but legal gambling with YOUR money. At least in the early days of capitalism profit made was reinvested into expanding industry, and there were lots of jobs.

These days capitalists don't have to rely on labour to make money as much, because there is so much cash in the system already. The more cash available to capitalists the less jobs there will be for those who only have their labour to sell.

I don't know how anybody could support such a system. Take the blinders off. If you don't even understand what capitalism is, then how do propose to understand any other economic, or political, system?

No, look it up, not true, and even if, that concept does not exist today.

How most people see capitalism is.

www.merriam-webster.com...

Economic system in which most of the means of production are privately owned, and production is guided and income distributed largely through the operation of markets. Capitalism has been dominant in the Western world since the end of mercantilism. It was fostered by the Reformation, which sanctioned hard work and frugality, and by the rise of industry during the Industrial Revolution, especially the English textile industry (16th–18th centuries).

You claim

Capitalism is not free market,

I agree, there is no such thing as a free market. The term is clever piece of propaganda that convinced lots of people to support the return of feudalism in its newest form.

and the majority of industry the world over is privately owned, whether by individuals, share holders, or governments.

The majority of industry the world over is owned by corporate institutions, not by individuals, share holders own nothing but a hope they will get money back from their investment, and governments are institutions as well.

Socialism is the workers ownership of the means of production, and is not outdated in any way shape or form. In fact it is still alive and well...

I would agree that socialism is the belief in worker ownership of the means of production. You can say what you want about the origin of words, but the idea that socialism can function as a market system or a form of government is pure outdated nonsense.

The only way worker ownership of production could work, is within a market economy with a representative government, then it sounds great to me. Bring back the cottage industry, or rise of the franchise, which is the way I think things will go.

What is ailing the world economy today, is old fashion bank fraud, created by the con of the free market scam.
