Your history books don't go back too far if they begin in 2001. The British and Americans have been directly and indirectly (through puppet dictators) brutalising Muslims for 100 years. They started fighting back in the late 70s and early 80s. Some people didn't notice until planes hit buildings because they spend more time thinking about star wars and other fantasy rubbish than the world they live in. In the end America and UK will lose because they have a sum of money they wont spend past but the people fighting for their freedom from foreign governments and puppet dictators will fight on forever.

If memory serves I don't remember any of us lot screaming Gehad and cutting of some poor individuals head off in public! Least since I have been around.

You cannot blame the general populace because of our politicians actions regarding world politics, middle eastern or otherwise! Its not like we have a say in the matter. If we did I imagine we would bring our troops home tomorrow and let there respective countries tear themselves apart. Only reason we are there in the first place is OIL OIL OIL!

It is interesting that defenders of Islam object to Muslims being held responsible for violent acts committed by other Muslims, on the grounds that to do so is a generalization.

On the other hand, defenders of Islam never seem to have a problem holding Western people responsible in a general sense for violent acts committed by their governments.

It is double standard.

So, basically the Muslims are just all "sour grapes" because they no longer have their empire....

And what was the reason they stated for 9/11? Its one big circle of hate and killing. Both sides are to blame. This needless killing and hatred towards eachother will not end until 1 side apologizes and actually works towards peace, and I dont mean "peace by killing "terrorists." And in my opinion, the responsibility of apologizing goes to the side with the bigger guns.

I'm not sure that this is a face thing or even a vengeance thing.

If I am not mistaken, Jihadists feel that Muslims have a religious duty to bring the world under the 'peace' and 'protection' of Islam.

In other words, Jihadists feel that Islam must dominate.

I was aiming at Irish Republican Army terrorist attacks here in the UK... those attackers were predominantly christian... Catholic infact, they might have dealed with muslims to further their cause and agenda but muslims did not blow up police stations and shops up and down the country.

I was meaning, once all the followers of Islam are dealt with should we be ready for round two? Sending white Irish catholics back home.

Fact is though we are all immigrants on these isles, genetically all except the Welsh and Irish bloodlines originate from elsewhere simply because they didn't intergrate with the waves of foriegners, that in time called this place home. Britain has never changed in that sense and it never will.

I'm a white Irish (former>) Catholic.

My grandad moved the family from Belfast to Birmingham in the late 70's because British soldiers were occupying Northern Ireland and killing women and children in the streets.

They even shot the family dog when they raided my family's home.
