My rights as a law abideing UK Citizen an my rights as a Human are being violated WHY?

This is not an imagined situation but all to real.
One could not create the senerio of malice an harrasment directed at me by a multi million alleged company/assosiation.with charitabe ambitions ie to HOUSE the homlesss or build shelters an hostels fir vulnarable people ,
Womens Shelters ,Homes for vulnarable people .This is not a pity party an Im not a profesinal writter an also dyslexic or is it anorexic?

Anyway back on course Im a 54 year old male an have lived in the UK s only Island City for over half my life.
I moved into my present address 18 years ago a one bed roomed flat in an Edwardian House converted into six flats.
Im on the middle floor with one neighbour to my left .
Lovley youn g girl used to glare at me as she plays drums an people had complained.
Impact noise i think it was classed as .

Eventyoualy she found out i was the only one of 5 neighbours whom hadnt complained .
Now she beams big smiles at me an old lady below me in her 90 an suffering from early on set dementia,
A youg Girl above me at least young to me She is also vulnarable because of tragic upbringing an her nerves a shot to bits an is agro phobic.

Im not saying im any kind of saint Im not perfect but I look out for my neighbours an get both the old people an this upstais neighbours some times.

Some times if she has no alternative but to go out i will escort her in case she gets a panic attack.

I was given my Home because mid 90s I was diganosed with Hep C as well as other on going health issues .
Id been infected with Hep C from a Woman I loved an was in a relationship with for ten years,
She was given a plasma transfussion with about 25 thousand other women At The Westminster City Hospital In Victoria London in the early 90s.

In fact the backlash an furore caused the entire hospital to be closed down..NOT....
It was quitely re opened but rebranded new name .

Anyhoo ten years of sex an as none of us were aware I also became infected/

The Gov/N H S . P T B didnt anounce the tainted plasma batch till about 12 years after the event.

When They claim they were first made aware.

And no this event is not the violation Im getting there.

About ten years after i moved into my HOME a new Bigger multi natinal assosiation took over the original land lords.

An thats when my nightmare was due to commence .Id had continual problems with maitanence with original landlords but they were quick efficent polite an sent someone to repair.
Useally same day

The on going recurring problem is the kiitchen ceiling ..damp patch next dat spread later same day ceiliing collapses.

First time it happened i thought its a one of beutifull flat no problemo but 6 mnths later happened again just straight collaps in the night slotch LOUD SLLOTCH

Iwalk through to half ceiling gone an three inches sodden plaster over my sink drying dishes micro wave.
Come out fix an maybe a year goes by an nothing.

An then itl happen twice in 6 mnths.

Your probably thinking im a friggin idiot an shouldve moved out but I had to wait seven years to get housed in the first place an my HOME is all i have.

I have no Family an I realy do love my home or at least used to before my landlords started a hate campaign against me

Im not a paranoid shctco honest I have documented proof of everything I say or write an 90 percent of the proof is from them on there headed paper.

Ive had three illegal eviction notices severed on me in the last five years.
I could go on an on with the costant aggro they seem to delight in shoveing through my ddor.

And its not just me as I said the entire property is for people classed as vulnerable.

I recently found out that my upstairs neighbour has been getting wrong advice re her benifit entilements fron.

A finace adviser from the assosiation.Ive worked as a carer for vulnarable adults my entire working life.

This geezer whomever he is has totall miss informed /LIED.

To her an whats she is entitled to .

So much so that she ended up in 500 pounds debt as he told her she had to pay a third of the rent when she is entitled underr welfare law to have her entire rent paid.

Why would A Houseing assoiation do that I thought ? They get there rent paid direct by goverment they know this.

But ah ha penny dropped this nice freindly finace adviser .
Tells her not to worry 500 pound rent arears we wont kick you out.

Sorted her out an emerganccy low intresst crisis loan.

Only 4 Percent intrest.
Ivww worked out shes haveing to pay back 678 pounds to cover the loasn.

For back rents she was never even liable to pay.
Even the bennefits agency wouldve told her that.

Im telling yoou this lot is like rachman on steroids an if you dont know who rachman was.

I had the same problem in 2008. I moved into a housing association flat in a lovely part of Georgian Liverpool (L8). fantastic apartment that I could actually afford on my really good salary of 15K p.a. (compared to others that is - nowhere near the Merseyside "median" pay rate incidentally, where that comes from I have not the foggiest).

The day I move in the plumbers are there putting the final touches to the kitchen. Nice unit too. They switch on the gas and leave. Within minutes there is a smell of gas. I call the BG emergency gas number. The guy comes round. Theere's a gas leak alright. He tears the kitchen aprt, including ther lovely brand-new kitchen units and floor (!) just to get to the leak. Finally he shows me the section of pipe that was leaking. There was a hole, like someone had hammered a nail straight through it.

next task was to call the housing association to get it fixed. I made about ten phone calls, had three separate plumbvers come out asnd look at the mess. No one, would put my effing kitchen back together. In the end I just moved out!

I am sure that if I was from some minority, had a kids, or just wasn't me, that the goddamn kitchen would have been fixed. But no - I had gas sure, but no bloody kitchen and they just did not care. How was I going to fix it? Get a loan, go into debt? I wish.

Sounds like they are harassing you in an attempt to get you to move. Probably want to sell the property to a developer. People are less than nothing when it comes to companies making money. They use whatever tactics will work. Don't be surprised if intimidation is the next move.

Its not the next move intimidation has been happpenig for years.The day I went to visit my MP my hotwater was of when I returned no pressure in pipes??
I phoned an explained i had no hot water .
Trouble with your emession they asked.......No said I its the pipes no water out of the tap cold water is ok just the hot.
That was may 14th said they couldnt get a plumber out untill the 20th.
Had to use kettle to boil water for wash ect no bath for a week.
An on the 20th an electrician arrives informs me he is here to fix my emession an then he informed me I needed a plumber.
And none was available till tomorrow couldnt give me a time of arriveal just sit in all day an wait,
an as litigations involved i cant mention names yet.

We have anuall gas an appliance safety chechs were we have to sit in all day an wait for the maininance guy.

Whom useally cancells at last minute due to emergancys an as Im not a priority has to reshcedule.

In 2010 I had three anuall maintance checks in 12 mnths????

All the while I explain i am the primary carer for a bed bound lady an how incoveinent sitting in all day is.

But they care not.

Its even worse than i can reveal as its an on going legal matter Ive got 3 MP s wanting to champion me???
Two different news papers reporters contacted me.

I know not how as I never contacted them.
One is the local paper the others a natinal red top

I hope you are coping despite all the aggro from your Landlords. I have come to the conclusion that all these problems and minutaie are common to most people (certainly to the little man) as i have trouble with either my staring nosey neighbour or the benefits agency etc etc.
There always seems to be some ongoing situation or problem in life unless you are one of the rich lucky people who run things.
It used to send me crazy trying to deal with it all, it's easy to start feeling victimised and depressed, but i now think it's just a fact of life that most people have to deal with bull**** from either landlords, utility companies or the benefit agency or the tax man.
So i just try my best to deal with things during 'office hours' then after that i try to put the problems out of my mind same as if i really did work in an office or similar. I realised over time that worrying about things all night wasn't helping my problems one iota and was in danger of affecting my health and sanity if i continued.
Easier said than done i know especially when you are getting eviction notices but try to put it to one side after 5pm and enjoy your evenings by making yourself comfortable and cosy in your home or go out with friends, whatever you like to do.
I try to see my problems as a cerebral puzzle to be solved like a crossword or suduko instead of letting it overshadow my whole day, don't let these people take your time up by worrying at times that should be your own, they take enough of our time up as it is. Good luck with your own particular problem in life.

The people in charge of these things are simply incompetent. I hear far too much from others about problems with their benefits, benefit advisers being snobbish and handing out misinformation, housing officials threatening tenants, borderline extortion against the people who can least afford it. You're also not the only person I have heard of with their local MP involved. It's a sad state of affairs, and I hope things work out for you somehow.

I hope your MP is one of the few remaining people with integrity. They are mostly self-serving idiots who will do whatever is in the best interests of their sponsors, and its not unknown for landlords to bung a few quid the way of councillors or MP's to get things going their way. As for reporting you for benefit fraud, thats clearly an intimidation attempt. It is unforgivable the way these sub-humans prey on the vulnerable to make a few quid. Someone needs to put on a Guy Fawkes mask and dish out retribution V-style. Nothing less is good enough for those scum.

So what exactly is the problem with WHY the ceiling keeps collapsing? I have installed ceiling's many times and they Do Not just fall apart unless something was done very wrong in the installation or the people above you were abusing the ceiling by leaking water onto it.

That's the first thing you need to find out before you can proceed it seems to me.

I am going to agree with you i also found this very difficult to understand, but like the OP said he is dyslexic

I have to say as someone who has what they seem to call "mild dyslexia" ( i personally think this was just a excuse for my early awful primary education) there is nothing more frustrating and at times hurtful than someone picking out something like you just did. Its just so annoying, kind of like a slap in the face, when someone pokes a bit of fun at a spelling mistake.

As such I have some advise for the OP, if you can take time to write everything focusing on your spelling on a word processor with spell check, there will still be some mistakes bu tit will make your threads so much easier for others to understand. Over the years I have overcome my dyslexia, most people now would probably just think that like the rest of the population (other than the grammar police) i have bad spelling.

Sorry i know this is all off topic but i don't actually know what the topic is about

you do know there are drugs that can get rid of Hep C nowadays.....go for it.

While I am sympathetic to someone with dyslexia, the other poster had a point. I read his OP twice and I am still confused as to what "human rights" are being violated...

Seems to me like he just has a bad case of damp coupled with an incompetent landlord. I fail to see how this has anything to do with "human rights"

Welcome to the real world. It took me over 18 months of complaining to get my landlord to finally get the shonky central heating sorted out, with multiple visits from plumbers and being messed about. I was still expected to pay my £1000 a month rent though...

Standard price for a 3 bed semi, unfortunately.. The irony is that I can't afford to buy a house as the average deposit required would be £25k (10%) and I can't save that money because of the high rent I need to pay. The real kick in the teeth? If I had a mortgage for the house I lived in now, it would be around £200 a month cheaper than me renting....

It is annoying that people renting never get enough saved towards a mortgage because it all goes on rent. The dss will pay most of my rent for me so why can't they help towards a mortgage, it's just dead money but the government seem to help everyone get on the housing ladder except people who rent. Like you say it would be cheaper and save the government money. All the present rules help are greedy landlords. It must be even more annoying if you are paying the rent out of your wages.
This is one of the most overlooked problems in England, surely it would make financial sense for the government to help renters to get a mortgage, instead of being forever trapped in the cycle of paying more out in rent than a monthly mortgage would cost.
