LostSailor can i just say that government you describes is the farthest from comunist as facism is to the liberals.
comunism is left.in comunism there is no government,no money,no countries! hell all there is , is the land you live on and the things you have. to get something you must do something for that person. its where every one is the same.

its simple, like all comunism they start out fine then one person seizes the chance and spreads fear and shows he is strong. obviosly to be safe you stay with the strong yes no?
now once this person has been declared leader he turns it into a dictatorship.
that ladies and gentlemen is one way to take control with little to none violence.
their gov is made of people who are chosen by the previos counsel.

Ok, so why then did the US decide to spread troops, money, liasons, and equipment throughout the .stan countries of cen. asia if it wasn't trying to tie all those countries in w/ Russia and India?

Also commanders on the ground in Afganistan said Bush just let Usama slip away more than once. This adds up to a reason to stick around a while.
