Islam in Japan

I NEVER KNEW THIS ABOUT JAPAN

Have you ever read in the newspaper that a political leader or a prime minister from an Islamic nation has visited Japan? Have you ever come across news that the Ayatollah of Iran or the King of Saudi Arabia or even a Saudi Prince has visited Japan? Japan is a country keeping Islam at bay. Japan has put strict restrictions on Islam and ALL Muslims.

The reasons are :

1) Japan is the only nation that does not give citizenship to Muslims.


2) In Japan permanent residency is not given to Muslims.


3) There is a strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan.


4) In the University of Japan, Arabic or any Islamic language is not taught.


5) One cannot import a 'Koran' published in the Arabic language.

Actually Japan is very strict on everyone, every religion, language and citizenship.

Only reason Buddhism is there because it was similar to their original "faith" and Buddhism has been there since their trading days.

So Japan is a racist nation. Not much of a surprise really.

Actually, this is where i would separate Highly Xenophobic and Racist.

Japan is highly xenophobic, might be slightly racist, but everyone is slightly "racist".. we tend to categorize and stay with our own group, for protection and other needs.

Thanks for the reply, but that rebuttal appears to be all one man's opinion with few facts to back him up:
His list of embassies is all of foreign embassies located in Japan, not Japanese embassies abroad.

Perhaps you'd be more convinced by this article from the Jewish Press:
