Obama heckled during National Defense University speech

He's speechless. I'd say she was saying some things he wished he could say. His body language is of empathy towards her... That's unusual for someone who's being heckled. It starts around the 53:30 mark, but the whole thing is worth watching.

I think Obama WANTS to close Gitmo, and seemed pretty sympathetic to the CP woman.

imho those Pinkers are totally clueless about the real world. IIRC some of them interfered with troop movements during the Gulf war and were outraged that they had to spend a night in jail. messing with troops in wartme is one step away from treason.

I find this to be completely incredible. Putting the politics and subject matter aside, its an absolutely fascinating exchange. Has there ever been anything like this before? Usually the heckler is escorted out of the room immediately, but this went on for over a couple of minutes.

My politics are in alignment with the heckler and what she was saying was spot on. Every day that passes I am finding more to dislike about the Obama administration, but I very much appreciate Obama's apparent respect for the point she was making.

He looks guilty to me....like he wished shed shut up, but he has to apear otherwise....
