you could play an imax film on matthews' forehead. good to see him changing his probama stance in light of all these scandals, there has to be some accountability. obama is rick jamesing americas couch, and someone has to charlie murphy his ass.

I was initially impressed that Matthews spoke up. Likely he will steer his fake rage into something less than it should be. I think the goal that was conveyed at the White House was that the Dems need some 'heat' from their own side, to show the 'fairness' of the press.
Give just enough to convince the sheep that they did some wrong, and let them on their merry way. In no way does the rigid left really feel bad about these actions being done - from Birth Certificate to Benghazi to IRS to EPA to Immigration - their fake outrage is a decoy and diversion from other agendas being hatched. Remember, for many on the hard left and yes, hard right, it's party first, morals second.

If you can win some people over, or divert them from asking harder questions, it's ok - end justifies means.

I'll have to see a LOT more coming from folks like Matthews, and even a hard call for impeachment, and a resignation of seats in the Senate next year before I believe any of their 'fake outrage'. You have to realize this can and likely is an act in their game. None of these guys were really betrayed, and many of the talking idiots are paid shockingly well - they literally care nothing about anything except party, ratings, their own self-importance. What others truly think, suffering, morality - those are at the bottom of their lists.

'Tingles' Matthews and his ilk did more damage than anyone to promote these clowns in power. I find it very very hard to swallow that he is truly outraged. I wish I were a fly on the wall when Jarrett held her all-hands lib press meeting. The agenda must go on.

I actually chuckled out loud... you honestly think Chris Matthews is far left? If you're going to use terminology, you should understand it first.

Gee .. looks like I plucked the feathers of a pet peacock fan.
Chris Matthews if far left. If you don't understand that, then you probably shouldn't be posting in the political threads. (Geee .... I can be childish and insulting too ...
)

Chris Matthews is the far left version of the far right Rush Limbaugh.
Both sides have brainwashed loudmouths. Chris Matthews is one of them.

I don't watch or read MSNBC... and am no fan of them or Chris Matthews nor any other network or cable news. Why? Though their facts maybe more abundant than FOX or Rush, they only ever present two view points from the political spectrum, Center and Right. They absolutely never address the concerns or viewpoints of the Left. We only ever hear about the Right's disapproval of the Administration, never the Left's.

Our criticism of the Administration is only found in independent media. Chris Hedges has a good pulse on what irks the Left, if you're curious or feel like comparing what he talks about vs what Chris Matthews does. Democracy Now! is also a good place to look.

And then there's always the media penning us all into the same two categories "Liberal", "Democrat". Here's an example.

Popular liberal thinker Noam Chomsky on Friday slammed President Obama for his inexplicable “attack” on civil liberties.

Chomsky is most definitely not a liberal. He's a Libertarian Socialist.

But I'm getting sidetracked on an issue I'm passionate about, so I'll leave it at this... you can keep regurgitating the media fed BS definition of far-left, or you can search up the truth.

Matthews really pours it on !!

Keep in mind He is a professional at conveying a message.

With more and more undeniable corruption being exposed, the Liberal media appears to be covering their rear ends too !!

Watch if and when Obama Inc. squeezes through this, Matthews will turn around again as usual

Remember: Matthews takes orders and assignments just like all of 'em.

This was not an unrehearsed rant.

It was planned programming.

Agreed! Corporate government + corporate media = finger pointing but no accountability.
Welcome to the matrix

Tempted to paraphrase an old saying: Hell hath no fury like a fanatic who discovers their idol not only has feet of clay, but has left dirty footprints all throughout their house.

Genuine? A rehearsed act? Somewhere in the middle maybe.

I found Matthews' tirade entertaining, kind of like I enjoyed watching "professional" wrestling as a kid and taken with just as much skepticism.

He's spot on.

These incidents are prime examples of a simple fact:
The POTUS was chosen because he makes a perfect puppet.

Not in a million years would these crotchety old elites allow-presidents are selected not elected- this POTUS
unless they could manipulate.

Oh yea!
But not the righteous indignation of the saints. More like the indignation of someone that has kissed azz for years and did a whole lot of azz covering only to find it all for nothing.
