Arctic bacteria found multiplying at record –15 C

I found this article online and thought it was really inetersting, Bacteria that can survive well below 0 C. this is quite the find.

The bacteria shown in this electron microscope image can reproduce while living at –15 C in an environment that is many times saltier than seawater. (McGill University)

"On Mars, we know there are permafrost environments, and we're pretty sure now that there are very cold salty environments as well," Whyte said, "which make them ideal targets for looking for similar types of life."

So if I get this right, this bacteria lives in frozen salt water, so a few planets/moons might have something similar.

Just thought it was information worth sharing.

Keep it away!!!
With my luck if I even look at a picture of it for too long it will give me another dang head cold- and I'm all out of Kleenex!
