This WAS a terrorist attack, no doubts, no questions. To then go and question the press and medias role in reporting that abomination makes me question peoples sanity. That scum was filmed on mobiles from every angle and every word that piece of vermin spouted is in the public domain. Unless you are living in a cave, you are now fully aware of what he said without any ambiguity whatsoever. Whether the press have cherry picked the most salient points of his rant is neither here nor there FFS!!
The argument as to whether we should be in Afghanistan or shouldnt have gone into Iraq is something that only those citizens of those countries can answer, not us. The notion that an extreme Muslim fundamentalist organisation can and does speak for the millions of Muslims throughout planet Earth is a pretty weak viewpoint. It would be like suggesting that the BNP/EDL speak for all us indiginous whitey UK citizens.....
Maybe we need to ask the Iraqis whether they initially welcomed the coalition forces in to topple Saddam Hussain, the Afghans whos families were being murdered by the Taliban, the girls who were banned from receiving an education or that little girl who was shot through the head in Pakistan for daring to confront the taliban head on through her blogs. What about THOSE people? Oh, and that girl who was shot? Well big bad UK flew her here for life saving free treatment and a place to live for the rest of her life, if she so wishes.
The fact that Iraqis are killing each other and we are merely treading water in Afghanistan has more to do with the multitude of tribes that have decided to kill each other. Tell you what, more people have died in Iraq since the forces left than when they were there, killed by their own people...........
The last point id like to make is this. How is it that the racist scum of the EDL could organise up to 150 demonstrators to home in on Woolwich in the space of a few hours but the muslim community could muster no more than half a dozen "community leaders" who, naturally, condemed the murder but, well, how long does it take to organise a protest march of hundreds of muslims condeming the radicalisation of their religion?

Maybe they know that many, many muslims, if not agreeing with what has happened, have empathy for that utter rubbish.
You dont like the culture here? Not happy with how the country is run? Emigrate. Its what millions of Brits have done, all seeking a life that they feel is more suited to their needs. Is it THAT difficult to grasp?

This is an old story. Been made into movies many times. It comes right out of the Holy Bible.

Of course, the specific events are new and modern. But the type of things are as old as written scriptures.

These kind of tactics are not new. Columbian cartels have been using them for many years. Hindu Extremists in Nepal use them against Christian Missionaries. Nigerian warlords use them against their own people to keep control. A rapist attacking a young woman in downtown New York is a form of Terrorism. What I find bizarre are the names of the two suspects. They're both named Michael and while their surnames are slightly different, they both start with "Adebo..". Have The Times/Telegraph made a typographical error or something of that nature?
