Just have to share this:

Part of the description for the painting reads: I was thinking that if the witch had offered Snow White a genetically modified Monsanto apple, it might take more than a kiss from a prince to revive our heroine.

Kinda says it all doesn't it?

This should be on the posters of the upcoming protests.

More art here:

Beautiful!

Peace

Nice art, although the Snow White tale itself is a slander against witches. Some of the best people you'd ever meet are witches, and they not only don't poison people, they will feed them non-toxic apples and then probably sing about them or something.

Monsanto dont make genetically modified apples.

Okanagan do, but its not trendy to hate them.

Yes it does.
Same as in all the other Monsanto threads.
Its yet another example of people not crucifying Monsanto for the things they ACTUALLY do, but instead attacking them for totally fictitious made up reasons.

Too bad the rest of his paintings are total rubbish. He clearly has fallen for the left/right paradigm and worships Obama.

Hi SIlentKoala:

Consider that not everyone has fallen for the "there is no difference between the right/left" paradigm, too! One can recognize corruption and/or incompetence is a human trait as opposed to a partisan trait. However, ideology is a real thing and the differences between what has become the reality of the left and the right are real, if not consistent.

There is a reason why social spending, government expansion and "nanny state" concepts line up on one side in opposition to blank checks for corporate slavemasters, fear of foreigners and denial of science, knowledge and progress on the other.

It may be popular to declare one's self independent or apolitical, but when considering the issues that separate the left and the right in politics (especially American), most people clearly fall into one camp or the other ... the left or the right, conservative or liberal ... whether they want to or not. In this sense, the left/right paradigm is a paradigm that describes inherent ideological differences that naturally occur in the population, and therefore effectively describe political differences in a social structure.

Unfortunately Monsanto did all the damage in the 70s by sraying the countrysides with PCB's this poison is now all the way up the food chain in every vegetable and fruit you eat there is no organic food if anything the extra heavy metals they are now adding to your diets are probably counteracting the poisons,

to remove heavy metals www.naturalnews.com...
to remove poisons www.patriciamichaeldesign.com...
also add sodium bicarbonate and msm and you can turn your body into a completely alkaline state.

80% of all crops sown on this planet are genetically modified and 100% of the companies that own the seed companies/ monsanto are elite families.

Food grade 35% Hydrogen peroxide is the best stuff this is one of the reasons they spray chemtrails in our ozone as the chemicals stop the peroxide reaching the earth.

Good thing Monsanto didn't pop up in Biblical times... we could have had such tales as Jonah and the Whalephant, Daniel and the Fanged Goatapottamus, the Parable of the Patented and Grow for 1 season (lest ye be sued) Gmustard Seed, and our "Jesus-fish" decals on our cars would have 3 eyes and tentacles....

It's not just MonSatan we have to worry about. These two books are fiction, but the writer,Dean Koontz's older books are full of descriptions of the reality we live in,notably Strangers,Dark rivers of the Heart, just as 2 examples.Fear Nothing and Seize the Night portrays a scenario that would have been made off as pure sci-fi even 50 years ago,i'm sure. These days the scenario he writes about in these 2 books does'nt seem impropable-not to me,anyway.

If Monsanto dont make genetically modified apples, what do they do? Please elaborate because many of the ATS members would like to know. Maybe we have been misled all this time.

Yes it does.

Visiting the Monsanto website tells me

Agricultural Seeds:
Alfalfa, canola, corn, cotton, sorghum, soybeans, sugerbeets, and wheat.

Vegetable Seeds:
Eggplant, Cucumber, Carrot, Bean (dry and garden), Broccoli, Fennel
Pepper (hot and sweet), Leek, Cabbage, Lettuce, Chinese Cabbage, Spinach
Tomato, Melon, Onion, Pea, Cauliflower
Rootstock, Pumpkin, Sweet Corn, Squash, Watermelon

And according to wikipedia,

95 % of the research and development for vegetable seed is in conventional breeding ...

So, no Apples, gmo or otherwise.

You are absolutely missing the reference here.

The symbolism is very clear but for some reason you feel the need to take it literally.

"Here, trust me...Take my lethal poison disguised as something sweet and healthy...After all, would I lie to you?"

Or do you truly understand the reference and are just...?

Peace

Would love to buy a poster but the guy is selling them for $700 and oils for $3000. I understand as the artist he can charge whatever he likes for his time and talent, but geez I wish there was an affordable option for normal folks like myself.
