It is chilly enough that I started a roaring fire in the wood stove. It didn't freeze last night though, which is good. I like it when it warms back up a bit for the boys' birthday party, then the kids can run off some of the treats outside. That is going to be Saturday though, so it could go either way.
We are lucky if we don't have snow on Halloween.

How about you, has the rain subsided for you yet? I hope you get some of that gorgeous sunshine. I can see the moon, so it should be bright here today.

Maybe you can send the boys to wrangle them for me? The grandgirl isn't here today and those cats can be awfully slippery! This is where they ended up last time I tried to corral them:

Bunch of darn wildcats!

They would love it, and a quiet day, hmmmm. I'll call and let you know when the plane will be landing.
Enjoy your adult time!

I am thinking that some of the issue must be the change in the weather. After being outside running free all summer, we have been a bit cooped up with the colder weather and school. They still go out everyday, but come in with cold fingers after about an hour. So far so good this morning though.

The party is Saturday if you want to join us.

ETA the boys love the kitties, my youngest just asked to see the kitty train again.

We will thanks. It's a running joke here that kids are on a sugar rush from birthday until after Christmas. Birthdays, then Halloween candy that lasts forever. Then I start baking for the holidays. Then we all crash and sleep in January, lol!

Your welcome to join us too.

*Wanders into thread scratching bum*
*Looks around*

OOPS excuse me I was still at work in my mind, I've been given the honour of designing and building the centre piece for our show room and I'm still playing with ideas.

Hope all is well with you all,
Doc one day we are going meet, and if I have my way it'll be with all our ATS friends around a fire pit with a guitar and pic is the ideal location mate.

Start saving

Girlie you know if I could I would already be there early for the festivities!
Probably bearing all sorts of noisey and messy gifts for the boys that drive you insane so you would have no choice but to let me bring them down south with me for a while. It's still warm enough in the day time for us to have some high adventure!!!

Manners, dear sir!

We must uphold all manner of decorum here!
No scratching your bum unless you're willing to scratch everyone else as well!

Ok, you can stay home, I have enough noisy messy things in the house.

Just kidding, well I do, but you are always welcome, whenever life may bring you north. June is the prettiest best month of the year to be in Alaska. Yup, we get a whole month
.

You are a glutton for punishment too, wanting these two around. They are beautiful, crazy, boys.

Some of the best in the world.
My husband actually got to go fishing with the gentleman who still holds the world record for a king salmon. He has passed on, and the fish have shrunk a bit , but I spend at least a month and a half of my summer covered in fish slime.
