Right down the youngest is in straight meltdown mode. On the other hand his brother has already completed all of his language arts for the day, so it could still go both ways. I think the little guy is going though a growth spurt, he's just been cranky.

Today we get to finish a fall leaf mobile that has been in the works for about 2 weeks. We also get to play with the glue gun and make little fall critters out of sticks and leaves and moss etc. I have a stack of colored in leaves to put up everywhere too.

Ok, I guess the meltdown is over. Ugh!

ETA: wow, ok, all of a sudden my youngest was singing his ABC's to me, and counting to thirteen (the highest he can go) and the world is ok. My oldest has finished his math too and we are on to free time. What a roller coaster today.

Sometimes I wish I could remember when my boy was that little. I just can't.
But I sure do have a journal full of everything. So at least I have that still to look back upon and sometimes jog a memory.

My life feels like one giant roller coaster!!

I feel it's supposed to be like this. Up and down and round and round we go!!! Weeeeeeeee!!!

I know I will miss these days, one of these years.
I guess life would be too boring without the roller coaster.
Thank goodness for nap time, it's mama's blessed quiet time while my other works on his science.
