What a great year 1979 was, went to see Quadrophenia at the flicks, then not long after got me a scooter. Oh what fabulous days and music around that time. Everywhere you went there were groups of skinheads, punks, rockabilly's, rude boys, soul boys, mods, rockers and new romantics on every corner. I love The Jam, I went to see them play 12 times and was so saddened in 1982 when they split up. Great days though, camaraderie, music and fashion...

What do the youngens have now? F*** ALL!!!!!!!

How dare you call a scooter a hair drier....

Since my first scooter I have never looked back...

Travelling down the coast with over a thousand other scooterists down to the coast is bloody awesome...

I am so sorry you missed out....haha.......

Funnily enough in those silly old days when Mods and Rockers started to become a dying race i was at brighton on holiday when the Mods and Rockers had a family get together... so to speak.

Used to be an annual thing for them all to get together and have a good old fashioned punch up!

Warmest respects

Hey Cody, that's a nice bike...

I have many biker mates, they all take the piss out of the scooter, but it's all fun and jibes. I have even been to bike rallies with them and had a great time, but nothing compares to my scooter....

Each to their own eh!!

The tattoo is cool though. some of my biker mates are like a walking tattoo, you can't see any bare skin anywhere on their body, but I suppose that is because most of them have their own tattoo shops and is their way of making a living....

Here's to the Mods and Rockers....

It was a lot better before the colours faded, that's my old club colours, I'm debating on getting touched in again.

Yeah the good old days, no health and safety just a bloody good ride, a few drinks and a punch up.

Then all into the pub for a laugh about it together.

I've still got a scar from a wayward chain.

Makes me smile to this day to remember the fun of being young and not giving a damn.

Yeah mate, time passes so quickly, but so glad I was about when I was. I got kicked off my scooter countless times and ended up in A and E when a bloke decided to wrap a pool cue around my head and break my jaw, but that was just a sign of the times, it was all kind of good fun.....I maybe 48, but I still have the mind of a youngster, but with out the crappy bits.....haha.....Cheeeeeeeeers

* as the Cliff Richard appreciation society, summer holiday bus pulls up outside the cafe *

OOoooh lemonade all round please

Cliff then waves to his number one fan,
signing an autograph for Cody the man !!
Cody spills lemonade in awe at his God,
as Cliff moves ahead to the table of Rod.
Rodinus nudges his good mate The Doc ,
both of them think that the Cliff sure does rock !!
