Don't get arrested up there, if you have time check out if the Fewston inn is still open... thats where i used to live (the old Fewston schoolhouse).

I actually went there a couple of times on the 4th of July as my brother used to be a chef in the kitchens... Not much to see apart from drinken US military people on the 4th of july chicking back BUD and looking pretty rough the day after and giant glof balls of course!

If you are up Menwith hill way, pop into Fewston cemetery in the old church and look for the gravestone with 28th of february one year and 29th of February the year after... would make a good pic and probably a thread starter here!

I took a picture about 27 years ago but for the heck of me cannot find it!

Good morning...one and all! I have woken up to a cloudy, rainy, windy day here in Seattle; fall has truly arrived. We had a wonderful spring and summer season here this year. Around these parts...they say that...rain is liquid sunshine.

Right now I am sipping my first cup of coffee... and I am all snugglie in my flannel pajamas typing this. I may stay in and read most of the day.
