My morning coffee, come share a cup! c(_)

Made the mistake this morning of trying to start doing things after only one cup.

Got in the shower, something wrong, no water, turn it up higher, pressure release valve pops, great have to buy a new shower
Step out of broken shower, spray shaving foam under my arms instead of antiperspirant
Unscrew shower from wall, forgot to turn off water supply

Give up, need more coffee.

I can relate so much to that!

Every once and a while I will attempt to function before at least 2 cups of coffee, and regret it every time!

Usually it takes me about 3 cups before I can start to get things right.
Even making coffee was rough this morning!

Glad you stopped in for a cup!

Would share this on a day when I am on a break, but it was entertaining so I will just share it now.

It is Saturday, and I have almost no work to do today other than the usual walk through and a washing machine that I have to move later on, but that is a long ways away. Plenty of time for morning coffee and some ATSing.

and I killed my coffee pot!! The burner just fried! Well, at least it lasted me a year and a half!

Just found this thread.

On my second cup. still in jammies.

I may be sitting here at the breakfast table, with dirty dishes and my computer, while kids watch cartoons in the living room....

But in my mind's eye, I'm in a sidewalk cafe, with a lot of people talking at the surrounding tables. olitics, Occult, Art, Religion. Some are playing chess. (none of them are staring at cell-phones, in this world)

I'm not engaging them, though. Just sipping, listening to the interchange. Getting ready to face the day.

I have been slacking in my participation on this glorious coffee thread.
Cody, that is my new favorite song, I think it is going to become my alarm clock too.

I am not trusting myself to be productive this morning either, at least not until I polish off this pot I have percolating.

I thought since I don't drink coffee and haven't gotten my glass of water yet, I would bring out a fruit basket for all ....


I hope you and everyone has a wonderful day. Storms are rolling into our area in a little bit, and I have a family reunion to go to! And ya know I'm actually excited about it...just because of the food hehe..good ole southern country cookin will be be going into my belly at noon!

I am really leery about thunderstorms this year cause it has been so bad everywhere and just the other day one of my co workers and her daughter had nightmares about a tornado hitting our area the same night, and it followed right along the thought I was having about bad weather here, but it could all be due to the bad storms and tornadoes breaking out everywhere around us. Well to the south east and west of us,so it is a bit concerning. Minnesota so far has been lucky, I hope it stays that way, although I got a camera ready if it doesn't.

Have fun at your family reunion!

I think a lot of ATS'ers do this.
So I figured I would share a cup with those who do, and some who don't but like to say hi anyways, which is cool with me!

I thought my coffee pot burner was fried, so I tried to make a cold pot, and found the pump is fried so I am coffeeless! OMG!!

Waiting for my wife to come home from work with a new coffee pot. I am going to have another pot just out of spite once I get it. Which means I'll be posting a lot later...

That was me on ship a few years ago.
It was like 3am and there was no coffee. So I dug around in the cabinets and made the coffee myself. One of the Navy guys came up to me and said they were:

"giving the coffee machines a break"

Obviously the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. I told him he could try to physically stop me if he wanted to.

Long story short, I had coffee a few minutes later.
