I was about to make a post so i did a search on the title of the source article i was going to cite and im getting:

500 Internal Server Error
The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation.

Is anyone else getting this problem or is it just me?

18-year-old’s breakthrough invention can recharge phones in seconds

i guess if no one else is getting it then it will go away eventually.

All searches or just a specific phrase - if the latter, which phrase?

Edit: I see ^ ^ ^. If you take out the apostrophe the search for that phrase works fine. But strange enough, other searches with an apostrophe works fine...

I got the same error actually when I searched that.

Maybe it's the (-) ?

Or the apostrophe?

I also have gotten some of that error but no only on searchers but when looking for threads, last week I have several blank pages with the error messages after clicking on threads from my ATS favorite.

To me it seems random.

The difference seem to be a "formatted apostrophe".

If you take your sentence:
18-year-old’s breakthrough invention can recharge phones in seconds

compared to
18-year-old's breakthrough invention can recharge phones in seconds

You'll notice the very slight difference in the apostrophes. The first is a "special character" and the second one is the proper plain old apostrophe.

Did you type the phrase directly into to search or dis you copy and paste it from somewhere?

That apostrophe ended up being a "curly" apostrophe. If you simply typed that into the form (rather than copy-and-paste from Word), what Browser/OS are you using?
