A group allied with Al Zarqawi urged for the release of CARE worker Margaret Hassan. They were asked to free her unless she proved to be a spy. This

DUBAI (Reuters) - A group led by al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi appealed on Friday to Iraqi militants holding an Iraqi-British woman hostage to
free her unless she was proven to be a spy, a message posted on an Islamic Web site said.
The unknown militant group holding Margaret Hassan has threatened to turn her over to Zarqawi's group unless British troops quit Iraq (news - web
sites).

They are being asked to publish any evidence against Hassan, or free her. This message has not been authenticated by authorities yet. Hassan was
captured in Baghdad on October 19th.
After her abduction CARE halted all operations in Iraq. Margaret Hassan has lived in Iraq for at least 30 years, was married to an Iraqi man, and
held citizenship in both Iraq and Britain.
