Meant for something better

All,

Not sure what/where this should sit.

I work as a manager for a big company so am doing quite well but never feel fulfilled. I believe and feel that I am meant to be doing something important, but I don't know what.

It frustrates me, and I think about it more and more.

Not sure what I am asking, or why I am saying it.

Thanks. I have been a member here for nearly 9 years. Mainly, I have been reading and absorbing, with occasional posts.

I want to get involved in something bigger. I have been to Area 51, hunt crop circles etc.

"Doing well" but "never fulfilled".

Big difference. Sounds like you bought the "success is fulfillment" dogma. Now you realize that isn't true. So now what?

Sorry, I don't have a pat answer for that. I used to think I did. But I found out that everyone is on a different path. If I give you an answer then you would be denied your journey to solving that.

You are not alone. Everyone feels that way sometimes. Wanting an answer to that question is what makes us human. So you got that going for you.
