The moon is in fact a moon. It isn't some mystical body brought by an imaginary race of bronze age gods to control us. It formed when the earth formed and all tests conducted using the scientific method support this. The movement, shape and boundaries of our oceans, continents and land masses were all influenced by the moon's gravity. If the moon were destroyed, catastrophic earthquakes, floods and chaos would ensue here on earth. I'm just at a loss at how easily some of you buy into myths or stories without giving it some thought or using reasoning. Physics/Math is your friend.

wait I am a bit confused. For those that still believe the god depicted in the bible is the good guy...think about how he flooded the earth. Does not sound like an all forgiving god to me. Next lets look at the 1st video in the OP. Once you get past the landing site stuff it talks about the order of the snake and the forbidden fruit. Later on someone posted genesis 3.1 (which by the was the first time i even read any part form the bible) which says:

Now the serpent was more subtle than any other wild creature that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden?' I have never heard the argument pondering why god would lie to his most loved creation. But, maybe I am going out on a limb here.

Now that being said I have heard this story before about the snake, adam and eve. I once believed in god when i felt i did not want to be responsible for my own actions, when i wanted protection from life, when i wanted to believe in something everyone else did for the feeling of acceptance. but as I got older the bible and religion in general seemed more and more like control. So who is to say that god really exists or does not. Or which one is good and evil and both are opinions. But if we were created in the image of our creator, no matter who that maybe, why should we limit ourselves to thinking we can only go so far?

OP, thanks for the great read, real or not i may never know, but i do believe there is more out there than we know.

Fascinating post.

Only twist is that the "priests" or the controllers came with the slaves (or genetically modified ones) and are still on earth in the form of their descendants.

The Priests have tried very hard to keep their bloodline pure, but they did not succeed.

While over time, slaves DNA has evolved and intelligence has developed due to natural causes.

Nothing is static in God's creation. Nature does not go according to man's plans. Nature has its own "tricks".

The story of adam and eve is not a real story. It is 'symbolic' story. The sages used such stories to explain difficult things to illiterate people.

The literacy rates were very very low 2100 years back. Only a few people could write. Even Jesus did not write his teachings (I believe he could not write).

Moses did not attract an entity of death. The burning bush announced it's name as "I Am" which is the energy of being that we all can invoke whenever we use the words "I Am". This is a basic teaching. People do come up with some way out ideas and the snake people came up with a few whoppers.

I wonder how the snake brotherhood explains the earth would be without the gravitational pull of the moon. By the way, scientists have said the moon is pulling away from the earth very slowly in minute amounts.

Think about all the murder, deceit, lying, thieving, and so on and then ask yourself what would a "just" God do? While we are on this subject of justice, would a Just God approve of some guy taking another person's paycheck and giving it to another just because? This is what's wrong with socialism, it does not take into account the justice meted out by the natural law of karma.

There's no scientific explanation for why the moon doesn't spin....
every single planet spins. even the sun spins, but our moon doesn't spin.

It's also at the exact required distance for it to eclipse the sun.

The odds of those two things occurring are astronomical. We're most likely that 1 in a billion planet that has a moon that does those two things....but I wouldn't call people dumb for considering alternative theories about the moon.

The moon takes just over 27 days (27.3) to rotate once on its axis. It also takes just over 27 days to rotate (27.3) around the earth. Now, if you are a man of critical thinking who can problem solve and see these things in your head, you can figure out why we always see the same face of the moon. Please, do give it some thought.
