Looks fairly interesting, as the two parts fit exactly.

It is most likely a bad picture of earth. what you CAN'T see is actually the ocean. The light part to the left is the continent of america, while the part to the right is the continent of Africa. simple! -If you take an Atlas and merges the continents, you will get the same result!

Could it be a glare off of the command module after jettison? Just a theory.

I guess the Earth idea is plausible, but my money is on a chance photo op for a near earth asteroid.
