These rock creatures are real.
I took the photo below, on a visit to Millport, Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland.



The creature is called The Crocodile Rock. (I suspect that the clue to it's nature may be hidden in the name?)

Conclusion: I think that it might be a rock.

I am not saying that it isn't a rock, but you stated your opinion as fact when you have no way to actually prove it to be true.

Even though the object in question being a rock is the most logical answer, you cannot prove this, and the answer is not always a logical one.

And now, not far from the "Lizard", we find the "Lizard-Hunters" - a little miffed at the nosy humans poking around...
