Funniest Story I heard in a while!

A Friend of mine is a manager in a gas station/convenience store. When she arrive at the store Wed morning to open up, she reallized that someone had broken in through the back door. She obviously phoned the police.

The problem is that this store is on the border between Ontario and Quebec Canada. The Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) were called at first because the "address" of the store is in Ontario.....they told her to call the Sureté du Quebec(SQ) becasue the door that was broken in was on the Quebec side of the border.....

They said that since they were "broken in from behind", then its SQ, had it been from the Front, it would be OPP! Isn't this the most akward wording given by a policeman..

Has anyone seen the movie "Bon Cop Bad Cop"...I got a flash back of that movie when I heard about this....and laughed my arse off !!! If anyone here is bilingual and has not seen this movie, you just have to! Those that have will know what I am talking about!

A short story but I just found it so hillarious that I had to tell someone!

It's a pretty good movie. But if you don't understand Canadian French you won't appreciate it as much.

I need to pick up on different languages because the next few yesrs I plan on traveling all over the world.
Right now I only know english and spanish.

actually, no, Tabarnack is actually a swear in French, taken for tabernacle (church word), what I wrote translates to:

"Hell yes! But its more like Tabarnack!"

It was a correction with a bit of a funny twist I guess...

It's for the chicks, isn't it? Just teasing...well half teasing. It's going to sound stupid but you can watch kids shows once in a while, they're a great help. A french/English dictionary. But your best bet, if you have a community college around where you live you can take a french immersion class.

If you have a couple of key phrases you want to know how to say in french we can help you for sure.

The kids cartoon sounds a lot cheaper than college.
Never really been too fond of school, I always had the most absences every year and still maintainedvgreat grades.

Anyways I found this movie not too Long ago and I found it interesting.

I watched it a few times to learn what the words meand according tp what's happening.
Problem is I can't find the rest of the movie

Oh and its not for the chicks its for knowledge purposes.

I prefer it in english myself but it dubbed in Quebec, if you can find the episodes in french, it would be a good start imo.
