I reckon I have to get my Ass over to the US soon. I have sooooo many food venues to visit! You have some serious food over there?

Especially in Texas I see?

What's your favorite?

I love everything that goes with beer, which is pretty much everything but my favorites are cajun boiled crab legs with shrimp and veggies or a thick grilled rib eye steak

Dude, stop it!! Making my mouth dribble!

Australia really does not have anything as a signature dish? Not sure if you can include the national emblems as food? (Kangaroo?)

But I do enjoy a Baramundi (Fish) and chips!

sad I know, but tasty as!

3, 2, 1.............waiting to get a flame from a fellow Aussie, but I really don't think there is anything that really matches up to some of the food I have seen on the Lifestyle channel when it come to USA?

Can you help me out? Ps. A pie does not count!!

Hello from cold and wet central Mass.

An American cheeseburger. I've been all over the world and the only 1 place I've had anything close is the Penybont Inn in Llanfynydd, Wales.

Mate, anything on a barbecue, lamingtons,

On toast or on a sanga !

We are pretty lucky to have such a diverse population these days, we have the best of everything
from around the world!
Unlike in the 50's and 60's where it was standard meat and three veg. Sunday roast. Fish and chips etc.
( pretty much Pommie tucker ... lol)

Lovin' the Thai food at the moment.

ETA: You cant go past a feed of king prawns and a coupla' frothies either!

When you go to the US, if you find yourself in O.C. Cali.

Head to Newport beach and find " The Crabshack " the crab cakes are to die for !

1998 called. It wants its thread title back. Seriously, ATS does NOT need these kinds of threads.

There is a reason that ATS has provided us with a chat room.

TexMex. Basically, Mexican food merged with mesquite grilling. Lots and lots of flavor, especially garlic.

Ok. That's fair
I will cease my "fuddy-duddy" campaign against topic-less BTS threads.
