Is facebook down? (speculation thread)

Is facebook down for anyone else? Not that it's too much of a big deal, but this is probably the first time it's given me a 'server not found' error.

What's the current status in your country? I'm in the UK.

The Internet seems to be working fine in Chicago, Facebook too unfortunately.

Hopefully Facebook will return before the U.K. falls into chaos from a lack of status updates and pictures of people asking for likes for organs or miracles.

Keep a stiff upper lip, I'm sure it will be back soon...or you could try turning it off and on.

Very curious, I can't access it via my normal ISP but when I use a VPN it works fine. Not sure why?

Seems to have fixed itself, I usually wouldn't care, but I was having a wonderful conversation with a wonderful lady and thought maybe it'd just be my luck for the end of the world to strike just as I'm making my groovy moves for an invitation.

Short answer: Who cares?

If Facebook went down there would be mass pandemonium, riots on the streets, mass teen suicides and a billion people with nothing left to do. Looks good outside my window so I'm gonna guess it's up

It's been going up and down for me, and when I check the site www.isitdownrightnow.com... it always says that it is just down for me.

Facebook has been acting weird lately. It's annoying if you're chatting with somebody, but not life-altering.

I was having issues with facebook loading. If it is allowing you to login but only giving you a white screen, (if you are on a pc, not sure where settings is for mobile) click on the arrow in the top right and go to settings -> security -> active sessions. Close all current active sessions and it should work after that.

I think it has something to do with facebook trying to add a mobile device to your account, not positive though.

Facebook is down??? Oh my God!!!

That means the nurses at my old workplace must be actually WORKING!!! Dear lord, we have a crisis on our hands. Get that Facebook up immediately before (heaven forbid) those poor over paid under worked nurses have to get off their computers to wipe someone's butt! LMAO!!!
