Hi everyone. Well, I have been in hospital since Sunday due to the PTSD and well after 3 years of 'exposure therapy' and no meds, I have a new shrink and have started on these two medicines.

Just wondering if anyone else has been on either one or is on either one now? I have been on them for two days now and the avanza is really good but the prazosin (early days) makes me feel a bit breathless but should settle down as I get used to them.

anyway, any feedback would be appreciated.

Nat

As far as i know, Avanza is the same as Mirtazapin which i took for a year, i have stopped taking any of those medicins, as the side effects are so annoying.( Can differ from person to person)

They are depot medicins which mean that they don't work right away, it have to build up in your system, and that can take up to 3 months, so ti should be imposible for you to feel any effect after 2 days.

Are this the one we are talking about, and some info on it, if is.
