Ron Paul you say?

No, not Ron, his son Rand.

I understand the confusion, both are wackadoodles, completely insane, and have no freaking clue what's goin' on.

See, Ron and his son Rand both appeal to the tinfoil hat wearing crowd, Rand here is just jumping on the bandwagon that his father is steering right off a cliff.

But, a lot of people who just read the name Paul, and they immediately goo themselves, and agree with everything these morons spew.

Don't really understand these claims from the right-wing. Capitalism has been the biggest force for globalism there has ever been. Nothing has pushed and solidified globalism as an everyday fact of life than capitalism.

How can somebody who believes in capitalism oppose globalism and globalists, when capitalism itself encourages globalism?

I don't know about left-wing, right-wing claims, but I can state categorically that our manufacturing jobs are going overseas and have been since the early 90s. How is it that our govt will not, or cannot develop a strategy other than higher taxation and more regulation to fight that? Jobs are going overseas because operating costs are lower, plain and simple.

If the left-wing embraces that and a lower standard of living for Americans then all I have to say is: wth?

Globalism is fine, but we do have the right and the obligation to at least attempt to preserve our standard of living. Becoming a service oriented economy will not achieve that.

Rand Paul is a complete nutcase and you should take everything he says with a grain of salt. The guy is an embarrassment to his father and also, he needs a new hair piece.

Every Company that agrees to offshore their work to China, Mexico, or South America via the government created trade pacts are all working together with Obama, and previous presidents on their globalist mission, rather they like it, or realize it or not.

Exactly, it is the carrot and stick approach with these globalists.
Every company strives for more growth and profits
Offer Tax Incentives and Trade Pacts to outsource and offshore your work to other countries in order to make a more cohesive and combined globalist community, that they then lord over.

The policies the politicians have put in place are Anti American, and a lot of business's in this country have lapped it up.

Redistribution of wealth is a globalist concept. In a socialist society there is only two classes - the slave class n the elite class which consist of central bankers n the puppet government. Redistribution is another word for monopoly, they elite use redistribution to take out their competitors n enslave the country. They will be the only wealthy no one else will have the ability to challenge them.

You don't need socialism to have a redistribution system, at least not in theory. Further, you are confusing liberalism with progessivism because liberals believe in superficial "redistribution" schemes. I explained that earlier but people don't pay attention.

You prefer having billionares and trillionares above government treating you like #? But in a way that you did NOT mention they will use the UN to invade you with all kinds of pretenses after first using "terrorist state" or "rogue nations" and putting sanctions on you.

The problem is the UN government run by america, which is run by european nobles!

Obama wants to take wall street wealth and move it to programs and the poor and that is his goal, its what he wants his legacy to be. Gun control, other than being part of an overall platform, simply is not his passion. He's a brilliant scholar and knows how pointless this whole gun-control issue is. Its like putting all your eggs in the Roe v. Wade decision, its a waste of time.

You have to be joking or a shill.
Care to explain why the Banksters that put Obama in Office would want to give their wealth away?
It looks more like since Obama has been in office, Wall Street has never done better while Main Street Suffers!

Its a Wall Street Government

Give me a politician that backs ideas from both parties and independents and supports term limits and abolishing corporate and special interest lobbyist. Than and only than, will I give any kind of credibility that comes out of a politicians mouth.

Well said and worth repeating.

It sure would be nice to find a country that is a Democratic Republic, full of Freedoms and with a government run by the people and FOR the people rather than a few in a small circle.

Unfortunately, America is not it anymore.

It has been hijacked by a bunch of cockroach Neo Conservatives and Neo Liberals that put their interests, and their cronies interest, above the interest of what is best for the nation.

As that list grows and you add too it and drone on about the who is nutty maybe you should consider that the list..... KEEPS GROWING

Maybe the real nutters are the ones who have their heads in the sand and wont or cant speak out because of ignorance and fear.

Are they all right or all wrong... I don't know. That is not the point. But there should come a point when one asks themselves if maybe it is themselves and not the others that are the ones with the screw loose.

Actually anyone who believes in a 'living wage' is contributing to globalism.,

Really pay people a lot of fiat money so they can go out and buy more corporate products!!!!

And that is how globalism is created.

While I know it's always wise to take these hot topic headlines with a grain of salt, instictively with this I got a feeling this need to be posted so the real people could chime in.
Twice I Did a Search and came up with nada....again this current search engine is there a trick??

I know my ATS friends will have some input to put my mind as ease.

Thank you Everyone for your contributions to this thread.

It appears many are disquisted with the current choices in politics....But..

it also seems they Not upset enough with the current configuration to consider a somewhat strange Rand Paul as an option???

So let it be noted..Many are willing to just turn a blind eye and hang on....and let it work itself out??Hows that working so far?

Suggestion for a future thread: Ideas to make ends meat while we continue to support our families :"(

I think it would benefit us better for you to shut up.

He doesn't have ties with white supremacy groups, they donated to his campaign. So did MOST of the military who donated. People from the black panthers and southern poverty law group donated to Obama's campaign, but you only have something against white supremacy groups because they are white, right?

Anonymous exposed emails that were sent back and forth between multiple white supremacist parties and Ron Paul + his campaign workers.

Denial.

I tend to agree with this....But my thought is that there is a piece of the puzzle that is being over looked??
Looking a the big picture it's fairly obvious something is off and not working in our favor, but when you try to piece together the individual actions why and who benefits the theory falls to pieces...?

thnx

Rand Paul may be a bit extreme,

but personally I don't agree that he is a nutcase..Well what do you like/ why do you even listen to him

my reply to this question is " He at least appears to be listening to the people in many cases"

Also, you certainly must be aware that some of the most influential people in history were also at one point considered to be a bit off...

I do not have many answers, but I think its safe to say that more People than Ever Are Listening..And they are
considering that something is amiss here AND time to bury your head in the sand is gone....

thnx

Do not Confuse Rand with Ron.
Rand is just another Politican , who will say whatever is Good for Rand.
The only "best interest" in his heart , is for Rand.

Thanks for the post.
I am aware they are two very different people. Also I felt Ron would have been an even greater asset to people. To the point I am just stating that even with Ran we would be better off then the other choices that I'm currently aware of. But we are in agreement that Ran is no Ron Paul. Again Thanks for the post.
