Interesting, due to the fact of escort jet fighters...I did not know we were still at the cold war.

Which brings up the question which 'navy' squadron is in that part of Alaska, the AF is in Alaska but the...navy?

There are no Marine wings in Alaska and the navy wings are associated with aircraft carriers or three land based airfields - none of them in Alaska.

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and Eielson AFB are the airforce bases in Alaska, so if this happened at all it was airforce...strange they would get that detail wrong.

However as any satellite could easily see terrain I don't see the point.....

Nothing mysterious (well maybe to you other viewers out there) about these lines here. I live here in NW Alaska so i know a thing or two about these lines. But as i was reading one of the comments from the second link you posted, the guy got it right.

The lines are all over northern North America, from Alaska, the Yukon, Nwt, Nunavut, to Quebec. They are cut lines for geophsical surveys, or for oil/gas exploration. The thin ones are cut using chainsaws, and form a grid pattern, to get a balanced section of land.

Yup, those areas were cut out maybe 30 to 40 years ago i believe. If i find out more about these i'll let you guys know more. I frequently see them when traveling from village to village via bush planes.

These lines appear to have been carved, from space, with possibly a high intensity energy weapon.

It does make one wonder, if these are truly ancient, then what, or who, took the time to carve these lines? And if they were made, by humans, on earth, then they truly had some advanced surveying knowledge.

This reminds me of the story about the secret UFO base in Alaska.

disinfo.com...

Maybe we are missing something. Maybe there's a secret UFO base in or around Peru.

[Former CIA remote viewer] Pat Price was of the opinion that “Alaska’s Mount Hayes, the jewel of a glacial range northeast of Anchorage, housed one of the aliens’ largest bases.”

According to Pat Price, the aliens that lived deep inside Mount Hayes were very human looking. Ominously, he added that the aliens use “thought transfer for motor control of us.” Price added: “The site has also been responsible for strange activity and malfunction of U.S. and Soviet space objects.”

U.S. Naval Forces Alaska operate under the commander of the 17th Coast Guard District, United States Coast Guard, accomplishing both the peacetime and wartime naval tasks in the state.

The commander of the 17th Coast Guard District is dual hatted as commander U.S. Naval Forces Alaska, accomplishing both the peacetime and wartime naval tasks in the state.

District 17 forces are located at Petersburg, Juneau, Ketchikan, Homer, Seward, Tok, Anchorage, Kenai, Valdez, Nome, St. Paul, and three air stations at Kodiak, Sitka and Cordova (seasonal). During wartime, Coast Guard forces provide the majority of naval forces in Alaska for the defense of the state's 33,000 miles of shoreline.

There are unconfirmed reports about deep underground bases in Alaska:

1. Brooks Range
2. Delta Junction.
3. Fort Greeley. (In the same Delta Junction area).

If that's true, is this the reason why the airplane mentioned in the OP was escorted by fighter jets to ensure they don't deviate from the given flight path to avoid snooping over sensitive areas?

I wonder if anyone from Alaska has been to these areas mentioned above to verify whether these bases exist or not?

I don't see anything that mysterious.

Could easily be logging areas/roads, found some other examples on Google Earth below in higher quality.

From the US

From South America

I see where your going on this!
But remember, what you've shown in the pics above are field boundaries for various crops that have been marked for separation. These you would notice are all geometrical -mostly squares and rectangles.

But what you're seeing in these aerial pis of Nazca and Alaska are dead straight lines seemingly drawn at random crisscrossing each other and drawn over uninhabited areas. This has nothing to do with land delineation for growing crops as you have shown in you pics above.

Here's a map of the configuration of lines on Nazca that seem to be similar to the ones in Alaska...

I bet you've noticed the difference!

Weve got tons of these lines in southern Louisiana...A lot of people say they are gas lines but theres way to many to just be gas lines and a lot of them are in pretty deep water off the coast great pic...just wish i knew the coordinates to look up myself on google earth

Thanks for sharing OrionHunterX, definite S&F!

Still boggles my mind was to the origin and function of these lines. Also amazing how they cross mixed terrain and still remain straight.

So I saw the picture you posted, thank you by the way, and I kept thinking I had seen that somewhere.....and I'm pretty sure I have.

Called a "chain saw" (no, not kidding.) Height of thing that carved it was "about 6 feet tall."

We've known how to make perfectly straight long roads for a very long time. Romans, for instance, did it.

Why are roads in alaska such a mystery, and I agree with the previous assertion that the us navy would not be flying CAP in Alaska. And if it was northern Alaska the the restricted airsapce would have been over the oil fielsd, a bonafide reason for restricting air routes. And northern Alaska is criss crossed with oil survey tracks, that are as straight as they cam make.them.

Well here is another method of setting out lines

Setting out lines for Dummies

It's not DIFFICULT is it that's the point I am trying to make, how many people were used ,do you know how long it took to make the Nazca lines , do you know why they made then, the answer to those questions iS NO! any talk of navigational aid or landing strips for aliens gives me a right good
why, well if they did visit us I am fairly sure that after navigating from another system landing on Earth is not a challenge!!!

I remember learning this is grade school and in Boy Scouts, but since they don't teach anything any more it is now "Secret Knowledge"

Does anyone know how similar the soil is to the Nazca lines? Same stuff?

It's not similar, no. Not even remotely similar.

These lines were made (as many pointed out) within the past 70 years.

Hmm...who could possibly have surveying knowledge...oh yeah, surveyors.

I suspect building something in a straight line hardly means "advanced" - they probably send the trainees to do it.

That, or they use space based weaponry.

This website might be interesting for some.
Ancient canal builders
www.ancientcanalbuilders.com...
I wish I could embed.
On the very first page it shows what the researcher believes to be ancient
canal in the Americas. And his list of sites is VAST.
He's done pretty thorough research as far
as mineral and oil exploration grids and many times he can quickly distinguish oil exploration
dredge

I was just starting to read about the Nazca lines- very very interesting stuff.

This site (originating in Russia and interpreted via Google) is pretty awesome, although I admit I have only glance around for a few minutes: geolines.ru...

Just thought if anyone was still following this they might like to check this out as well
